Gloucester also played an important role in the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, and is the site of Powhatan's village and Pocahontas's' home. History and water! Creek House is perfect for family groups or couples seeking to get away. This warm and spacious home also easily accommodates family reunions and small retreats -- bring your reading group, your yoga group, your sewing circle. You may spread projects out in the larger of two common rooms and then retreat to the fire in the tray-ceilinged main sitting room by the creek. Families will relax in the large common rooms, gorgeous big kitchen, and the privately situated and beautifully decorated bedrooms.

This architect-designed, handsomely appointed and comfortable home is a twenty- minute drive from the 'Historic Triangle' of Yorktown, Williamsburg, and Jamestown, and one hour from the state capital in Richmond and the Navy in Norfolk. Colonial history tourism, crabbing, fishing, boating, biking, hiking, and bird watching are common activities. Gloucester is famous for its daffodils in the spring and the Daffodil Festival draws large crowds. World-famous 'Brent and Becky's Bulbs' is just a few lanes away from this uniquely beautiful property.
