Watch the spectacular soundside sunrises and sunsets while you relax on the Adirondacks that sit on the extra wide wrap-around decks surrounding our house. Located in the exclusive Village of Nags Head, the house sits directly across from the sound access and pier and on the 13th hole of the golf course. Grocery store, local shopping are walking distance from the house. And all your favorite restaurants and entertainment a short drive away.
During your summer stay, you will have access to the Village of Nags Head members-only beach club. The club has private access to the beach, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, arcade and activities for the kids, showers and a terrific cafe/restaurant with great lunches at very reasonable prices. Forget having to pack food and haul coolers. The free door-to-door shuttle picks you up at the house and gets you there in less than 5 minutes or you can walk to the beach club 10 minutes.
On the ground level of the house you'll find a delightful private outdoor shower to wash off. You will also find a large sand box under the decks for shady afternoon fun for your little ones while the adults enjoy the hot tub for 6.
On the second floor you can relax in the master bedroom with a queen bed and dual-sinked bathroom. Across the hall are 2 bedrooms; the 'Bunk Room' that sleeps 4 with a bunk bed and 2 single beds, flatscreen TV and Playstation2 with games, and the front bedroom with 2 single beds and beautiful views of the sunset. Each bedroom has its own TV and there free WIFI access throughout the house.
On the sunny third floor you will find a well-appointed kitchen, dining and living rooms. The kitchen is equipped with all you need to prepare meals, crack a bushel of crabs, or blend a batch of mixed drinks. Relax in the living room with a flat screen TV. We have a toy closet filled with board games. A gated stairwell, crib, pack and play and high chair for the little ones makes this a very kid-friendly house.
A second master bedroom off the living room offers a queen bed, tiled bathroom, private balcony access, and its own TV. From the front and back decks, sip your morning coffee or evening wine.
You can bring your own linens or if you choose, for an additional fee, we can arrange to have fresh linens and towels waiting for you.
Our location is perfect for families. Not only is the beach just a quick free shuttle ride away or a 10-minute walk, but we are also directly across from a pier where you can go fishing or crabbing every afternoon and enjoy the sun as it dramatically sets with orange and purple coloring over the mainland. We are also within a short distance of putt-putt, go-carts, beach stores, movie theater, bowling lanes, sub and ice cream shops, and the widest variety of water sports that include jet skiing, para-sailing, water skiing, kayaking and fresh/saltwater fishing. For the bargain hunters the Tanger Outlet Mall (Ralph Lauren, Coach, Gap, J.Crew outlets) is only one mile away. Within easy drives you will find the 'The Lost Colony' - an outdoor drama, Wright Brothers Monument, North Carolina Aquarium, Cape Hatteras National Seashore, and Lighthouses.
