Steve and Audra, We had a great time at your place. It was so beautiful and nice. It was a memorable occasion because we got to celebrate my son’s 4th birthday and his first time skiing. Thanks for the great memories. Kris and Stacy
We are a family of four. A Mommy, a Daddy and two boys. We moved to Colorado in 2003 and never want to leave. We try to come up to Granby Ranch whenever we get the chance. Mommy and Daddy met in North Dakota a long time ago and have since lived an Arkansas, Florida (2 times) and Ft Collins, CO. We like all outdoor activities including hiking, mountain biking, skiing (although Daddy thinks he is a snowboarder and Mommy doesn't like going downhill to much). fishing and kayaking. I just learned to ski at Granby Ranch last year and now I can go down the greens all by myself. This year is my brother's turn to learn and hopefully by next summer we will both be riding the pump track on our mountain bikes. I might even be able able to keep up with Daddy down Nature's Way. Last month I caught my first trout in the fishing pond in Granby and hiked along the Frasier river with Daddy and Brownie. But sometimes at night or when it's cold we just like to snuggle by the fire place, watch movies and drink coco. No matter what we are doing we always have fun as a family up here.
Back in February 2010 we spent a weekend at a friend’s condo nearby. Daddy was working on his mad snowboarding skills at Granby Ranch and wasn’t quite ready for Winterpark yet after several years off. Mommy was down at the base tubing and playing king of the mountain with my brother and I. Mommy checked out the open house at Base Camp One. I think she went to it for the free cheese and wine. When Daddy got down in one piece, Mommy dragged him on a tour of the condos. They weren’t even looking for a place to buy at the time but they immediately fell in love with the place and made an offer. I don’t think at that time they even new about all the cool things that we could do at Granby Ranch and Grand County. Every time we visit we discover more amazing things to do up here. I’ve learned so much about outdoor activities and nature that I never knew existed. I’ve made lots of friends especially around the fire pits at night when we make Smores and run around the base camp. Our family has so much fun here all year round.
