Stunning Luxury Home - Walk to Burnt Cedar Beach

This was our second rental of this fantastic property. We will never stay anywhere else when visiting the Tahoe area. The location is in a quiet residential area in Incline Village, but is close to everything. Unfortunately this year did not bring the epic snow like we had last year so we spent some time hiking around the area. Its an easy walk to the lake and the beach is spectacular. It is centrally located for access to all of the ski resorts with short drives (under 40 min) to all of the areas in North Lake Tahoe and Truckee.
We would highly recommend this property for your stay in the Tahoe area. We hear its even better in the summer!

It was a pleasure staying in this home for the week. It was everything that was described in the listing and more! We would recommend it without question to our friends and relatives.

The owners have managed to take a fabulous space (with high ceilings and large common areas) and make it very cozy. The layout worked so well for our multi-generatonal group. I could be in the kitchen and still be part of whatever was going on in the dining room next door or the patio just outside. Having the laundry room tucked away at the end of the house was an added bonus; I could pop laundry into the dryer before going to bed and not disturb anyone.

We used every room at one point or another. Our East Coast singles shared the guest cottage and were quite comfortable. The grandkids loved the play area and large, fenced in yard. The adults took turns cooking dinner and the Thermidor stove/oven and the JennAir barbecue grill were put to good use. There were plenty of towels for all, which is always a big plus for our growing family of 13, as well as an endless supply of dishes and silverware. We had fun playing pool in the game room and really appreciated the WiFi connection. The property was clean and well maintained.

The entry way must be perfect for skiers in the winter. We used it to store our bicycles and beach stuff. It was nice not having to worry about bringing sand into the house and more convenient than opening and closing the garage whenever you needed something. The double driveway is a wonderful feature. Our three cars each had a spot and we didn't have to be moving them around each time someone needed to run to Starbucks, the rec center or the grocery store.

The early birds in the family loved the accessibility to Lakeshore Drive. Just a short walk and you were right there at the lake! It was also convenient when some of us wanted to stay at Burnt Cedar Beach a bit longer and some of us wanted to head back for a quick shower before starting dinner.

We spent a weekday at Sand Harbor (too crowded on the weekends) where the grandkids played in the sand and we all took walks on the trail and did a little rock climbing. Our adult children splurged one night for a wonderful dinner at Big Water Grille while my husband and I baby-sat the grandkids.

The owner was responsive to the many questions I asked before signing the contract and followed through every step of the way. We would definitely consider a return visit.
