Beautiful chalet across the street from Shuswap Lake - private beach with dock/swim float, buoy for your boat tie up. Private boat launch 200 feet from property. Open floor plan with loft. Extra large deck off living room. Small patio at the back with propane barbecue. Excellent golf courses in area. Beautiful drive 7-8 hours from Calgary or 5 hours from Vancouver. Under an hour to Kamloops or Salmon Arm. Walking distance to local grocery/liquor/movie rental store. Great hiking trails and places to explore by car or by foot including historic sites. Excellent restaurants and other amenities nearby.

Why The Owner chose Shuswap Lake

We spent our summers at Shuswap Lake as kids. As adults we vacationed at many different places with our children and always came back to this beautiful lake. Celista is a friendly community close to BC's great wineries - lots of things to see and many activities to keep us occupied.

What makes this chalet unique

We love the sunny southern exposure, the lake is so big there are many places to explore by boat and you don't have to worry about running into other water skiers the way you do at smaller lakes. The wine tours are fun. We like being able to walk to the store for milk, etcetera. We like the peace and quiet of the area, love sitting on our deck after a full day of activities on the lake.

Great hiking trails in the area, horseback riding, water sports, boat, skidoo and water toy rentals, several golf courses nearby, excellent restaurants, many areas to explore by car, ATV, bicycle, motorcycle or on foot, several wineries in the area for tours and tasting.

Fabulous holiday resort for all ages.!!!!

We can't say enough about this wonderful beach retreat with your own private beach and dock. The house was furnished beautifully, was exceptionally clean and offered ALL of the comforts of home. The view was amazing and we enjoyed watching the sunset each evening or having a coffee in the morning sitting on the very large sundeck. We also had several dinners on the sundeck. . The barbecue was also an added feature and last but not least the owners were wonderful people to deal with. It is situated in a good location as you can walk to a little store down the street and most amazing of all was the BEACH. We all had fun either sitting on the dock or swimming. I would recommend this vacation home for anyone who wanted to have a memorable and fun vacation at a very reasonable price.!!!!

Wonderful relaxing holiday

Great location for swimming, boating, and just kicking back - incredible place, comfortable beds, heavenly sheets, extremely well appointed. Have booked 2 weeks for next year.

Fantastic -GREAT PLACE

JUST FANTASTIC would be the two words I have to say about this beautiful home situated right across from the lake. . It was exceptionally clean and furnished with lovely new furniture. The beds were very comfy and the view was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the large deck watching the sunset as well as enjoying our morning coffee or our dinner. The beach was great and we all enjoyed swimming or relaxing on either the shore or the dock. There was a little store a few minutes up the road and if we wanted a large shop or dinner out we drove a few minutes and found different restaurants as well as a great grocery store. The owners were most helpful and the price was sooo reasonable. We hope to make this our yearly summer vacation.
