A true nature getaway with the comforts of home.
This was an amazing property with great amenities. The house was very comfortable with a pretty, open-plan kitchen and living room so that we could cook and entertain at the same time. The large fridge and dishwasher were great. The views were spectacular. Mount Mansfield is the backdrop of every photo we took at the house. The sunsets were awe-inspiring. On the first morning there, we woke up to find a moose grazing in the back yard outside the dining room. The property is huge and adjacent to a nature preserve, so a variety of nature walks were waiting for us right out the back door! Our daughter had hours of fun skipping rocks on the pond, adventuring in the woods at the side of the property and playing on the great jungle gym in the back yard. The town of Stowe was only about ten minutes away. The house was the perfect distance away from the town, so that we could enjoy Stowe and Mount Mansfield, but also feel like we were away from it all when we got back to the house. It was a great experience and we would highly recommend it.
