Custom Retreat in Wallenpaupack Lake Estates

My family and I were looking for a nice vacation home last minute!. We keep our boat up at Lake Wallenpaupack so we were looking for something not too far away and this location turned out to be perfect for us. The house was tucked away, but also close to anything you would need. It was great at night to sit out on the adirondack chairs and just enjoy the breeze. The back porch was covered and a great place to grill and relax. The floor was very unique and I usually walked around in my flip flops, but some of my family loved the feel on their feet. The bathroom sink seemed to amaze everyone, and also the shower! The house was very open and very airy which made it comfortable to sleep. There are also all the appliances you would need- a fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, toaster, coffee maker, and others! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again! The owners were great to us as and very accomodating as we booked last minute. We definitely enjoyed the house and hopefully will be back again!! Thanks for a great vacation house!

My family and I were looking for a nice weekend in the Poconos, specifically Lake Wallenpaupack Lake Estates where we have family. This house was tucked away and very private yet close to all of the amenities. The stream that runs across the front of the property kept our 19 month old entertained the whole weekend with him throwing rocks into it. The beautiful craftmanship of this home must truly be taken in by anyone that vacations there, the pictures don't do it justice. The floor is a bit unique as it is a pebble type of consistency, you will definitely need your slippers. The back porch is covered and has a table and chairs, BBQ and firepit. One night it rained and that provided the perfect shelter for us to be able to sit outside and enjoy the evening with family. I found the property was very clean and the owner was extremely responsive to me if I had questions. There are two full beds in the loft which is open to the living area and then there is a queen size bed in the master bedroom. We have four in our family so it was perfect for us. Our son was able to sleep comfortably in his pack and play in the loft and my other son in the full bed. There is a washer/dryer, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, all the dishes you will need. We brought our own linens and towels. You can't go wrong renting this property!
