Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4) Views!

This condo is bright and designed with relaxation in mind. Facing West and North, the mid-day sun allows for lazy afternoons and beautiful sunsets. The oversized balcony has a large table with 6 chairs making it perfect for alfresco dining. Views to Palos Verdes, the Terminal

Island Bridge and Palm Trees. There is a fully equipped stainless steel gas kitchen and a stackable washer dryer.

All pots and pans, custom pantry, small and large appliances are included. The custom 'bottom up' window coverings ensure for maximum shade inside and the blackout shades in both the bedrooms allowing for sleep anytime of day. A ceiling fan in the master bedroom offers a cooling breeze for those warm evenings. Plus a walking score of 92!!

There is a custom sofa and mid-century furnishing and a large glass coffee table in the living room. It can comfortably sit 6 or 7 with no problem. The dining area has a large teak table that opens for family and friends get togethers.

There is a new King bed in the master and a new Queen bed in the second bedroom. All linens are provided. Both bedrooms are carpeted. Custom black-out shades are in both bedrooms.

The master bedroom has an en-suite bath with granite counters and dual vanities. All linens are provided. Ceiling fans in both baths and all lights are on dimmers. The second bath has a tub/shower combination with granite surround. A Ceiling Fan in Master Bedroom and two additional desk fans.

The building is new, built is 2007, and offers the best of amenities including an outdoor heated pool, hot tub and dry sauna. There are many meeting rooms and quiet common area spaces including two well equipped gyms and BBQ's. Two side by side secured and deeded parking spaces are also included. Superior construction includes double dry wall for minimum noise transfer.

The building has state-of-the-art security system. Two lobbies are manned 24/7 and all visitors and guests must register and be announced. Outside doors are locked and one can only gain entrance by using a ' FOB' to unlock.

The unit is close to the best of everything Long Beach has to offer! The Long Beach Convention Center, the Pike Marketplace, Rainbow Harbor, the Long Beach Aquarium, and the Catalina Express, are all within walking distance. The trendy Pine Street corridor is just three blocks away. Many restaurants, shopping, cinemas and theatres are all within close proximity. The building is conveniently located at the end of the 710 freeway so getting to places in and around Southern California including Disneyland, Universal Studios, Hollywood, Pasadena, the Long Beach Airport, Orange County, all beaches and the South Bay are very easy. The terminus of the Blue Line is also three blocks away making commuting to downtown Los Angeles or Union Station very easy. This is the perfect location to start or end your stay in Southern California.

Many Long Beach activities are centered around the city's waterfront marina and downtown. Within an 8 block area, there are more than 100 restaurants, plus shopping and entertainment venues.

There are two bikes in a secured and covered area. Hit the city's bike paths, one of which runs 5.5 miles along the sandy beach shoreline located 5 blocks from the building. The City, which has been ranked in the top 25 cities by Bicycle Magazine, has 45 miles of bike paths.

The city of Long Beach also offers the opportunity to visit the stately Queen Mary. At one time the Queen was the world's fastest and most luxurious ocean liner. Today, she still adds color and a retro cachet to Long Beach Harbor, and entertains passengers in restrauants and on historical tours.

Long Beach, the fifth largest city in California has much to offer the visitor or resident.

Spread out along five-and-a-half miles of sandy coastline, Long Beach is a beach community with lots of room to play. And it offers lots of fun places to go.

New building just completed in 2007. Never lived in unit #205. Sunny and bright with views to Palos Verdes. Located on the second floor it allows for easy stair access to the pool area. Perfect first U.S visit!

We are two young girls from Norway who visited Tom´s very beautiful condo. The condo was perfect for our girl getaway. The Location was very good, a lot of resturants nearby and walking distance to downtown Long Beach. We used the pool area a lot, nice and quiet and mostly it was just us there during the morning. I also liked to use the gym for my workout, and I liked the gym better then my gymsenter at home.

I also will recomend to rent a car, if you want to see more of California, but its not a "must" if you just want to chill out in the sun and just experience Long Beach.

We really enjoyed our stay, and we´re hoping that we will can come back one day.

A perfect Long Beach Experience

We had the fortunate opportunity to live and reap all the benefits of this wonderful condo in downtown Long Beach...From the inital contact with the owner as well as the detailed follow up and mailing of several misplaced personal items, our experience was no less than perfect . Tom has a penchant for detail as evidenced by his personal information session presented to us when we arrived..We were expecting a great view as a result of the photos, but the expansive view of the Long Beach metropolis as well as the Palos Verdes peninsula was breathtaking. The condo was impeccably clean, supplied with all necessary items and many above and beyond expectations for a rental property. .The staff of this high rise building were more than helpful and provided many suggestions for touring and exploring this unique area..We loved being so close to the Queen Mary, the Long Beach Aquarium and the restaurants that abound in each direction. The high rise has a beautiful pool and jacuzzi located in a center courtyard where you can relax and enjoy the stars in the evening.. We will definitely return to this jewel by the sea

444 Seaside Way. -- Perfect Place

It is difficult to describe all the advantages of this wonderful property! It serves so many home away from home requirements, then exceeds them. Long Beach itself has many interesting things to do...great dining places, really three distinct areas to visit and explore. However, for us it lies strategically between Los Angeles and Orange County. So if you love to shop, go to Orange Coast Plaza, if you like museums , try The Getty, The Bowers, the Norton Simon or the small, lovely Long Beach.museum on Ocean. The condo itself is just lovely.

We loved our morning swims at the pool, which was empty In early mornings. The condo has everything you need. The staff at the front desk acts as if you belong here. So many places treat renters like interlopers, not true here. Tom is wonderful, very professional ensuring you are fully informed and leaves a complete book to refresh your memory if you forget walkthru directions.

You can't miss renting this condo.

Feels like a five star hotel!

This was the first time that my husband and I decided to use HomeAway.com,
instead of staying at a hotel and definitely this is the way to go!  First
off, Tom the owner is wonderful, he met us at the flat and showed us
around and explained everything and was so helpful and easy to work with.
His flat is amazing, so well decorated and super organized and clean.  We
originally planned to stay for one month but then decided to extend our
stay another two weeks.  We really felt like this was our home.  The staff
was very helpful and friendly.  Loved the pool and the gym.  The location
is also perfect, lots of great restaurants within walking distance, like
Gladstone's and PF Chang's.  We will definitely be going back to Tom's
place next year for our next vacation in Long Beach!

The ideal home away from home

Tom's apartment has everything you could want. It's close to the beach, at a secure location, and has every amenity you might need and some you didn't even think of.

I found this little gem after reviewing many apartments around the Long Beach area. However, what impressed me most was the friendliness of Tom and his help with any enquiries before our stay.

Tom also arranged for a friend to meet us on our arrival to show us the facilities. We found the apartment impeccably clean and comfortable, situated in a perfect location for a holiday, a few minutes from the beach and close to a freeway on-ramp. The apartment comes with very informative documentation, with access to fitness amenities, pool etc. as well as one secure off street car park and two bikes for local transport.

The two bedrooms were very comfortable with lots of space, clean linen and personal bathrooms. The kitchen was a pleasure to use and provided a perfect spot to create a relaxing dinner or snack, if you weren't tempted by the fantastic places to eat nearby. I recommend walking 15/20mins down to the Shoreline Village to try my Aunt's favourite margaritas at Tequila Jacks with Mexican fare or my favourite the Yard House with it's delicious burgers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and will be back again. It's the ideal home away from home and much more preferable than a hotel.
