Perfect house for a large crowd

My 4 star vs 5 star rating is due to the following... we went in mid Feb 2013. There was construction next-door and we were not notified. There was loud hammering in the mornings. The pictures are accurate except for the beautiful view out the windows behind the kitchen area dining table. Those palm trees now completely cover the window and are pressed up against it so that beautiful view is completely obstructed. You cannot see around the palm trees on the main level at all so we could not enjoy that awesome view. This was a major disappointment! One of the King Bedrooms has a round window high up on the wall that lets bright light in early in the morning. You have to bring your own linens and towels which is normal for Wrightsville, although I found a small handful of rentals that will take care of that for you. And last but not least, there is a significant deposit that is cashed and returned 45 days later.
Other than that, this house is amazing - it has 4 floors, the bottom being the garage, next up the main kitchen, 2 large dining room tables, 2 queen rooms, there is another bedroom with 2 sets of bunks (4 total beds) and I can't remember what floor that was on, the next up is another wet bar area and seating area w TV and 2 King Bed rooms, the top floor is the master with an awesome bath, balcony, desk area. The kitchen is impressive - fully stocked, and the 2 large dining tables are in close proximity. It's perfect for a large crowd. The house is on a lagoon (a "cul-de-sac" made of water with houses lining it). The water is very clear at the dock and it is a beautiful location. The beach is a short walk away. There are no restaurants within walking distance that we noticed. When driving, stay under the speed limit! They are known to ticket in this area.

Owner's Response: Those happy palm trees need regular maintenance, and they were trimmed soon after this guest departed. We keep our property "manicured" inside and outside. Very sorry about the noise from winter's construction- thank goodness it's finished and we have a beautiful home next door.
