NEW RENOVATION OF HOME W/GARDEN, ON WATER W/GREAT CHESAPEAKE BAY VIEWS

This house is a gem! My husband, myself and our two dogs stayed for a week and I have never felt more relaxed after a vacation. It's an extremely quiet area with lots of water opportunities. The peninsula this house sits on, has a couple of small beaches and our dogs swam every day, much to their and our delight. The large fenced in yard really set our minds at ease too. It was great to watch sunsets or sunbath with our dogs romping around the yard without a care in the world. We also loved the screened in hot tub. We used it more as a cold tub/ mini pool because it was hot during the afternoons, and at night the screen kept the mosquitoes away.

The property owners, Margaret and Jeff were great to get to know as well. We were a little nervous when we found out they lived next door, but once we met them, we couldn't have been more relieved. They are laid back, salt of the earth people and made us feel extremely welcome.

Margaret owns a convenience store/bar called Lucky's which is right down the road. On Sat. nights they have karaoke and crabs and this was one of the highlights of the week. The locals where very friendly and a riot to watch as they karaoked with no inhibitions and the crabs were delicious and cheap too. We loved it!

Jeff is an experienced captain with several boats. He is also happy to take you out on the bay in one of his sailboats. Both Margaret and Jeff are artists so the house is full of art made from driftwood. Extremely unique pieces! They sell them at Lucky's and other local galleries. We picked up a great piece for very little money and it is already on our wall reminding us everyday of the great week we had in Chance.

As you can see, I can't say enough good things about this rental. We can't wait to go back again!
