Apartment Doncellas is situated within the walls of this UNESCO World Heritage, next to to the history of the ancient world, site in a quiet and peaceful area so if you want a ‘party place’ this is not the place for you. However if you enjoy history and food you are within an easy walk of the Cathedral, churches, mosques, monasteries, El Greco museum and many interesting restaurants and bars.
The apartment is newly renovated and offers the following accommodation over 2 floors. The first floor has 2 large bedrooms with fitted wardrobes plus bathroom with shower. The ground floor comprises comfortable lounge/dining area, well equipped kitchen and separate toilet. There is a small private courtyard with table and chairs where you can enjoy breakfast or an evening appetizer in the lovely Spanish weather. It will be a perfect place to stay, a home from home. You are surrounded of History. Cots available and children are welcome, ideal for family holidays. Pets are welcome. Children under 3 years free.
Toledo (Latin: Toletum; In Arabic: ?TulayTela) is a city and municipality located in central Spain, 70 km south of Madrid. It is the capital of the province of Toledo and of the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 for its extensive cultural and monumental heritage as one of the former capitals of the Spanish Empire and place of coexistence of Christian, Jewish and Moorish cultures. Many famous people and artists were born or lived in Toledo, including Garcilaso de la Vega, Alfonso X and El Greco, and it was the place of important historic events such as the Visigothic Councils of Toledo. The Cathedral of Toledo (Catedral de Toledo) was built between 1226-1493 and modeled after the Bourges Cathedral, though it also combines some characteristics of the Mudéjar style. It is remarkable for its incorporation of light.
