This is an amazing house,nestled in a coconut grove, sits directly on the beach. The house boasts a total constructed area of more than 1.000m2 in three pavilions. The construction is of the highest specification with deluxe finishing materials, solid hard-wood and Italian travertine marble floors The house is surrounded by a large mature garden and is positioned at the end of a private driveway leading from the river. All rooms are air conditioned and completely furnished with luxury brands' of furniture, carpets and curtains. There is a purposely-built, state-of-the-art home-theater, beautifully fitted kitchen and outdoors cooking and BBQ facilities. The large swimming pool is only a few meters from the beach.
About Duilio Barbosa

We are a semi-retired couple:

Graham is English, from Carlisle, a graphic designer by formation and an entrepreneur by necessity.

Duilio is Brazilian, from São José do Rio Preto, physician (Radiologist) and now dedicated to breed Dobermanns and keep the garden weed-free.

This house was built by us to be our dream-house on a tropical beach. So, it's not a beach-house - it's a house on the beach.

No false modesty: It's quite spectacular! (It's been featured in a few architectural magazines in Brazil and abroad.)

What makes this house unique

Privacy is the overriding factor.

The beach is semi-private and only reachable by a gated, private road. There's no through-traffic.

Security has never been an issue for us of for any of our neighbours.

One is away from it all, on a remote, pristine beach, amidst a beautiful coconut grove but surrounded by high standard luxury and technology.

The access is solely through a gated, private farm road.

The property is surrounded by a large coconut grove, tropical vegetation, rivers and marshes.

The beach is semi-private - there are very few neighbours - and the sea is generally calm and warm all year round. Off-shore coral reefs - part of a National Park - provide for leisure activities and protection agains high surf.

Activities include: fishing, swimming, snorkeling, cycling, kayaking, beach activities, eco-walking, horse riding amongst others.
