Bahama Bay Resort and Spa is ideally located just 10 minutes from all of Disney's world class theme parks and attractions. As well as convenient to numerous shopping centers, dining and entertainment venues, and championship golf. Situated on 70 lush tropical acres on Lake Davenport.

Our 2nd floor condo is beautifully appointed and fully equipped with all the comforts of a contemporary Florida home yet all the amenities of a full service resort! From the two lanai's, you overlook a pool, hot tub and courtyard. Right across the street is the 24 hour clubhouse, with business center, the basketball courts, and the kids pool and playground. Kid friendly activities and games are available.

Just off the lake is the beautiful sand beach and volleyball courts. Ponds and the nature reserve make a walk around the complex relaxing and entertaining.

About The Owner

My sisters and I were born in Scotland, moved to Canada (Southern Ontario) for our dad's football career, and settled in Winnipeg. We have fond memories, as children, visiting the Orlando area, and wanted to share the same experiences with our children.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2009
Why The Owner chose Bahama Bay

With young families, we wanted to find a location that felt like a resort, offered all the comforts of home, and catered to families. We sure found it! Bahama Bay is a gated and guarded community. It feels like a Caribbean getaway, with great kids areas and activities, and lots of fun for mom and dad, too. It is minutes away from all of Central Florida's attractions, and only 1 hour to the ocean. Once we entered, we knew this was the place for us. We didn't want to leave.

What makes this condo unique

Our condo is a 1232 sq. foot, 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo. The two balconies are off the living room and master bedroom. It's great to sit outside, overlook the courtyard, and enjoy your coffee, lunch, or whatever else. If you don't feel like cooking, restaurants are right on-site, or if you need a break, head to the on-site spa, and enjoy some pampering! Feel like you need a work out? There's a gym on-dote as well.

My family and our friends stayed at this resort/condo for our winter DisneyWorld Get away. We were blown away with the condo stay experience. The Condo is an awesome size, and extremely clean! We were able to fit 9 in the condo comfortably. Having the kitchen and the washer/dryer was perfect for our 8 day stay! The resort itself offered a lot for our families (pools/tennis courts/arcades) and the staff was very kind and professional. I would recommend this condo to anyone and I will rebook again in the future!

3 Wonderful Weeks of Vacation

Bahama Bay - Great 10 Days

Tracy was great to work with, quick to respond and prompt in helping us. Condo was very nice, and accomodated us with ease. Kitchen was large, with basic pots, pans, and utensils. Washer and dryer in unit a plus. We knew coming in this was not ahotel, we just took soap, and some basic supplies with us.
Balconies were a bonus, in that they were screened, and a great place to relax.

On site management responded within 10 minutes when we had a defective electric outlet. We spend our ten days relaxing around the pool, and enjoyed the quietness of the resort. We were there they end of Feb, when occupancy was not at a peak

Only surprise was that the queen beds felt more like a full size bed, but would not keep us from going back. Truly enjoyed our stay.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

We love hearing that people had a relaxing vacation, and enjoyed the area - it's one of the main reasons we selected Bahama Bay as well. We always want to ensure that our guests are comfortable. To that end, all of the beds have been recently upgraded, and are standard queen (and twin) in the third bedroom. Please come back and stay again in the future.

Just wanted to say thank you for posting your condo for rent. We loved our stay here in your unit. The staff are very accomodating and work hard to keep all the guests happy. All week we kept saying to eachother that we don't know how families do this in a hotel room for a whole week! At our house we call that "cramping"! I have to say the icemaker in the fridge was my favourite feature. Nothing like an ice cold drink and space to kick back after a long hot day at Disney! Thanks!

Fantastic

Thank you soooo much Tracy for making this a memorable vacation for my family. We had the pleasure of staying at the condo and we enjoyed the remoteness from Disney (you need that break) and the peacefulness of the grounds. Everything we needed was available at the condo and each evening we came back from Disney - the kids enjoyed a swim and us a few cocktails.

We definately plan on staying there again and appreciate all Tracy did to make our stay an enjoyable one.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
