I am a mother, public school teacher, realtor and traveler. An avid Arizona lover and resident for 30+ years. I wanted to provide the same thing which I seek when traveling: great value, safety and amenities that don't break the bank. That way, I can spend my travel budget on exploring the state, not my hotel!
Tracy Weber purchased this condo in 2000
Pictures do not show that this place really does not look as clean and quaint as they say it is.... furnishings inside was old, worn out mismatched, shabby , threadbare and dirty. The sofa and chair had many stains on them , the curtains were in tatters, bedding mismatched, HOLE in mattress, the metal mini blinds bent and beat up looking. . Refrigerator constantly dripped and pooled water from upper freezer. no dishwasher, of 3 wine glasses, one was cracked. very limited other dishes, for cooking a real meal. no dish soap, no Bath Mat! The mop and vacuum bag were filthy and needed to be replaced. The toilet brush was unusable, also should have been thrown away. I ended up buying many of my own cleaning supplies, , mop etc, We ended up staying for almost 3 weeks because we were moving into a house that was not ready. But if I was coming to stay for a vacation this would not be recommended. I think these pictures are very , very old maybe 10-15 or more years because even the bathroom sink, Cabinet, toilet TILE flooring is all different. But the dresser , tables nightstands are the same as in the pictures but now with peeling chipped paint. The sofa and chair is now very dirty and stained and the throw pillows worse.... Pictures are deceiving!
The space was perfect for what we needed and very secure. I also love that Area, Me and my Fiancee were stuck in a stressful situation that caused us to have to rent a temp get away but that stress was for a moment gone while stay here.
This 1 bedroom unit is perfect for two and was a great landing spot for us as we visited with our children. Having the separate living space was a real plus, so I think four in the unit would be too much. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped with the usual implements along with dish soap, linens and such.
Tracy provided starter coffee and filters - thank you! Recommend picking up a 5 gallon jug of drinking water before you head for the condo.
Good pressure in the shower but the shower head is not very high. New towels and Tracy provided soap and a hair dryer.
The area is a bit sketchy but the condo property itself is just fine. We appreciated the security doors and after a little initial apprehension the first day felt completely safe.
We would definitely stay again!
The house offers very good value for your money! I came from germany lived there for 3 weeks and felt very well all the time. The owner is friendly and helpful. Very good I also liked the Internet flatrate.
my husband, myself and our two children were looking for a nice place to stay for our spring break in phoenix. this was perfect! the bed in the bedroom was extremely comfortable and the kids said the sofa bed was great, too. i loved that the owners provided bath soap, dish soap, napkins and laundry soap...we didn't need to go shopping for any of the basics. it was so handy to have a washer and dryer, too. the pool, like the 1 bedroom condo, was well maintained and my children had fun swimming...we didn''t see anyone else use the pool while we were there.my son was especially happy with the tv channels that he could watch his favorite teams in the evening. this was also a great location and close to many activities such as hiking and bowling. the owner provided excellent customer service, too. we will definitely stay there again when we visit the phoneix area and will recommend it to friends and family!
My wife, 14 yr old son and I spent a week in Phoenix during the World baseaball Championships and this location was Great. Easy access to Chase Field, as well as some Spring Training sites, shopping and restuarants. We also travelled one day to the Grand Canyon and had no problems getting there and back from this location. The condo was clean, well maintained, comfortable and we had everything that we needed. The only downfall was the couch that turns into a second bed,if we could make one suggestion it would be to replace it with a newer one as this one was not very comfortable. If there had only been two of us then it would not have been an issue but because there were three of us we needed to use it. Otherwise everything is as advertised and we would not hesitate to contact Tracy to stay again.
