CHARMING APARTMENT IN GREAT MONTREAL NEIGHBORHOOD. EASY ACCESS TO EVERYTHING!

Montreal Apartment Rental Photos and Description

1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, sleeps 2 to 4

Comfortable, well furnished, and efficient - this apartment is ideal for a couple or small family. Located in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood with groceries, restaurants, cafes, shops, and parks nearby. 15 min walk to Jean-Talon Market (Montreal's best public market). 5 min walk to a subway station for quick and easy access to downtown and other great Montreal neighborhoods and attractions.

Our Neighborhood - La Petite Patrie: Our apartment is on the second floor of a two-story house and has its own private entry. We are located on a quiet street lined with mature trees. This calm neighborhood is a nice change from the bustle and noise of downtown. You will enjoy walking and exploring the streets of 'Rosemont-La Petite Patrie' where you will see typical Montreal buildings with winding wrought-iron staircases. As you explore, why not stop for an espresso in Little Italy? Go for a stroll through the Market? Do a bit of shopping on Plaza St-Hubert? Or try a locally made beer at a micro-brewery pub? Past guests have said they enjoyed staying at our apartment because they feel they get to experience the 'real' Montreal, as opposed to seeing only the more 'touristy' side of the city. Come live the Montreal experience!

Getting Downtown - A Real Breeze!: Montreal is an easy city to get around in. The best ways are by public transit, or for the more adventurous traveler, by bicycle. If you choose public transit, there are a few ways to get downtown from our apartment. Either walk 5 minutes to the closest subway station (Metro Fabre - blue line), go one stop and transfer to the orange line which will take you downtown. If you prefer not to transfer lines (and explore the neighborhood a bit!), you can walk 15 minutes to Beaubien Metro on the orange line. Once on the orange line you will be downtown in about 10 minutes. Another very interesting option for getting around in spring, summer & fall is by bicycle. Montreal now has a self-serve bicycle rental service with stations throughout the city. This is the first service of its kind in North-America and is offered from May to November. A membership is $5 a day. See www.bixi.com for details.

Very Cozy and Cute

The apartment was very cozy for our Family Day weekend stay in Montreal. The Jean Tallon market was a few blocks away and it's definitely a 'must see'! The produce was incredible for the middle of February. The apartment looks exactly like the pictures and had everything we needed for our stay. It was a very comfortable space for 2 adults and one 10 year old.
We especially enjoyed the restaurant recommendations left by the owners, along with the maps and area information. I would definitley stay again!
Owner's Response: Thanks for the review and thanks again for choosing our apartment for your stay!
We would be happy to have you as guests on your next trip to Montreal!

Cute, Cozy and Convenient

I simply loved the apartment. Cozy, spacious, and located in a quiet neighborhood, away from the hustle and bustle of Downtown, but easy to access Centre-Ville. The apartment is just as pictured and located in a great neighborhood with convenient access to Metro and bus stations, Bixi rental stations, and a large grocery store. There are plenty of restaurants a short walk away and near the Jean-Talon market. The neighbors were warm and friendly (as was “Bouchy”. the little dog downstairs). I spent many evenings sitting outside and talking with them and got to learn even more about Montreal and Quebec. I rented for a month and felt like a local Montrealer while I was there.

Nadia was great to work with! I always got quick responses to my questions and she is very accommodating to situations and needs. The leasing process was so smooth and easy. Inside the apartment, there is plenty of information and recommendations on places to eat, go, and how to get around.

All utilities, appliances, services (Internet, Cable, telephone) were in excellent condition and working order. The property is well maintained. There was everything anyone would need to feel and be at home. All you’ll need to bring for your stay is yourself.

Really, there is not much else I can say positive that hasn't been said. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends who are looking for a place to stay in Montreal. I was very sad to leave. I felt so much like a local and at home, and I would return for another stay on future visits to Montreal.

Unforgettable!

My mom and and decided to take a trip to Montreal for her 60th birthday. The apartment really became the foundation of the trip. We were always so glad to come back after dinner each night and rest our tried but happy legs. Super cozy and homey. Nice neighbors, cute pooch and kiddo downstairs. Great location - close to Jean Talon Market. Bring or rent bikes! Makes the experience all the better, I'm convinced.

Loved it! I would definitely rent this place again.
Owner's Response: Thanks for the review! Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay - come back anytime!

Winter Visit to Montreal

Montreal is a wonderful city and this snug, well-equipped apartment provided security and comfort as a home base making a week-long stay fun, relaxing and affordable. Nestled in a predominately French-speakling neighborhood within walking distance of Marché Jean-Talon and one-and-a-half blocks (or so) from the Fabre Metro stop this roomy one-bedroom flat is unbeatable for convenience, whether you seek respite from the hurly-burly, or access to one of the great metropolitan centers of North America. Our expectations were modest and this apartment exceeded them. If you are looking to make a stay in Montreal avec très peu de moyens... you have found it.

A great place to stay in Montreal

We had a great time staying at this property. The place is very neat and cozy and it is located on a quiet street. The owners were very quick at responding to questions via emails.
We enjoyed the bike rides in the city and found the bixi system in Montreal very interesting. There is a bike station right at the corner of the same street.
There is a super market just a block or two from the property. And the famous Jean-Talon market where youj can get fresh veges and fruits is also nearby.
We really enjoyed it.
