Custom home built by owner set among towering pines on beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene in Powderhorn Bay. Rural setting adds to get-away-from-it-all ambiance. Elegantly appointed home with gourmet kitchen and incredible indoor and outside spaces. Beach side tipi, flower gardens and hot tub. Caretaker on site. Private chef, housekeeping and babysitting may be available, as well as grocery shopping service.

Biking/Rollerblading/Walking: Trail of the Coeur d'Alene's is four miles from front door, Hiawatha Trail 45 Minutes away. Bicycle rentals available at trails.

What a Week on the Lake!

We rented this house for a week for a sort of family reunion and it was one of the best vacations of our lives. The house itself is beautiful and spacious--lots of wonderful details and finishings. A very comfortable place to stay and make home on the lake for a week. Powderhorn Bay is exactly where you want to be if you want to spend a week on a wonderful lake. Mornings and evenings waterskiing on glassy, warm water without competition from other boats. Days swimming, paddleboarding or cruising up the Couer d'Alene or St. Joe's river. We took some days off from the lake and rode bikes and played world class golf too. The kitchen has everything you need to keep your family well fed with good cookings. The owner, Susan, is nearby (not in any way intrusive) and very warm and helpful in looking out for you and offering ideas and guidance on the neighborhood. You can tell right away that she has put a lot of thought and energy not only into making the house a very special place but into making your arrival, departure and stay comfortable and fun.

Wow! A beautiful house in a great location.

The property is every bit is nice as it appears in the photos. Everything you might need in the huge kitchen, and all very clean. Super comfy beds. Lovely gardens. No neighbors! The kids amused themselves fishing, swimming,paddling in the kayaks and row boat, while the parents lounged around on the dock and deck.
The owner couldn't be more friendly and welcoming, we felt sad to leave.

There are some great bike trails in the vicinity. Bring your own, or you can rent them in Harrison.

Thank you Susan for sharing your wonderful home on beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene!! Your home is exquisite! There was plenty of room for our large group and we thoroughly enjoyed the many things to do.....kayaking, swimming, hot tub, sitting by the fire roasing marshmallows and just relaxing. The kitchen was amazing and worked wonderfully to prepare the meals for all of us!! Loved having two dishwashers! Hope to visit again!!

Family vacation

We were invited to Lake CDA by family in Utah. We could not have been more pleasantly surprised about your beautiful home! It is superbly decorated and equipped with everything we could want while enjoying the grounds and water. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality, as well.
