Literally a slice of paradise

This is our favorite place to stay on the island. Kay is very welcoming, and the property is warm and inviting, and even has a hot tub! They're solar operated, grow several varieties of fruits and veggies, have a huge pet pig, a chicken coop, etc. This part of the island also has endless opportunity for exploration.

Lovely Property

  • 4 of 5
This property was a perfect reprieve from the hot east coast of the island. The grounds were just right for our toddler but the unit itself was not very toddler friendly. Exposed outlets, open bookcases, and a large step made it hard to keep her safe inside. (She was walking but not able to use stairs yet.)

The land is beautiful. the gardens, the animals, the fruit trees and the owner make this property that little peace of happiness. We will return and we will continue to recommend this to others. But if you have tiny mobile ones, travel with outlet covers.

Owner's Response: Thank you for staying with us. I appreciate your suggestion of outlet covers for curious children. They will added to the accommodation. We strive to provide our guests with a wonderful and safe stay at Keolamauloa.

Great home away from home

  • 5 of 5
My family had a wonderful time staying in this guest house on the farm. The house itself was well equipped with everything we needed for a home away from home stay. We were able to cook all of our meals here and especially enjoyed eating the fresh veggies and eggs from the farm. And we enjoyed walking around the farm every evening with our 9 mo old son, who loved exploring the garden, watching the chickens, and petting the farm cats. The house was also conveniently located for day trips around the island. We'd definitely stay here again if we have the chance to go back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and beautiful home base on the Big Island

Divine visit to a heavenly property

  • 5 of 5
Our time on this gorgeous homestead was the most enjoyable and blissful for our whole family. Our children thrived & learnt so much that they didn't want to leave. It was difficult to compare the other properties we visited (there was no comparison) - what a lovely unpretentious house.
Incredibly clean & well stocked kitchen, beautiful gardens and gorgeous hosts.
I wouldn't change a bit of it. Very central location to some of the well known & the secret sites of the Big Island.
