This Townhouse is nestled in the center of Mammoth on Old Mammoth Road and is on the free shuttle route to travel around town or to the slopes (just minutes to high speed chair 15 at Eagle Express with new ski school). In walking distance is Vons (the main grocery store), Quiznos, Starbucks, Carl's Jr., The Chart House (fine dining), movie theatres, churches, sporting goods, and many specialty shops.

Description of Townhouse (everything is new): First of all someone told me recently that a great thing about this townhouse is you park your car at the front door and walk straight in, no going up stairs or through a hotel entrance to get to your room
Downstairs: Entry way/Master Bedroom and Bath, Bedrooms Number Two and Number Three, Bathroom and Laundry Room.
Beautiful slate floor entry leads to all the bedrooms and baths on the first floor, including a laundry room with stackable unit.
Master Bedroom: A queen-size cherry wood sleigh bed features a pillow-top mattress. Matching night stands, dresser and ceiling fan accent the room. Satellite television and individual lighting for reading in bed.
Master Bath: Double Corian sinks and Knotty Alder cabinets, faux marble surround in shower/bath combination.
Bedroom Number Two: Queen-size bed with pillow-top mattress. Large closet with floor to ceiling mirrored doors, ceiling fan and matching wall sconces
Bedroom Number Three: A rustic room furnished with a bunk bed with a full-size mattress on the bottom and twin size mattress on the top bunk. Framed mirror with oil lamp looking sconces and of course, satellite TV.
Third Bathroom: Hickory Cabinets, Corian countertop and Shower/Bath combination with Faux Marble Surround complete this bath .
Upstairs: Living Room, Kitchen, Dining Room. One-half Bath.
Living Room: Spacious with Vaulted Ceilings and overlooking loft. Leather sofas, full entertainment system with 60' flat screen HD, surround sound, Playstation 3 with Blueray player, Wood burning pellet stove. Lighting can be dimmed. Put in a movie, turn down the lights, make some popcorn and enjoy a cozy evening.
Kitchen: This large kitchen is fully equipped with all new appliances perfect for the culinary chef. Just remember to bring the food! Also includes Knotty Alder cabinets with Corian countertops and adjacent one-half bath.
Dining Room: Both the kitchen and dining room feature hand distressed American cherry hardwood flooring, the dining room seats six at formal table with matching hutch, the kitchen bar seats five. Great space to gather the family and friends. And balcony just off the dining room has gas barbecue.
There are three designated parking places at front door.
All cancellations must be in writing, email or US Postal service. Cancellations 30 days or more to arrival will be assessed a 10% administrative fee based on the total contracted rental amount. For cancellations occurring within 29 days of arrival all deposits are non-refundable. If the townhouse can be re-rented for the same time period, we will refund up to the contracted price less 10% administrative fee. No-Shows: Non-refundable.

There is not a more beautiful place in the mountains that has epic snow and an incredible serene wilderness than Mammoth.
Park at the front door,enjoy the view of the local ski resort, bar-b-Que,swim in the pool or relax in one of the 3 jacuzzi s,watch the 60' flat screen and satellite TV, have family time with the board games or PlayStation 3,enjoy cooking great meals with a fully equipped kitchen, or conduct business with the wireless internet at no extra charge.
This townhouse was great in so many ways. It is spacious, beautifully decorated and well maintained. The three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms were perfect for my husband and I and two adult daughters. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We loved the mountain view from the balcony on the upper floor. It was great to be able to park right outside the front door and the tiled entryway is nicely set up to store ski equipment if needed. The townhouse is in a very quiet location and conveniently near transit stops, stores restaurants, visitor center and a nice walking trail. Everything with the owner went smoothly and we received our cleaning deposit promptly. We had a wonderful, memorable time. Thank you!

My husband and I have stayed here twice with friends and have had a great experience! The owners are extremely helpful and everything inside the condo is neat, clean, and in great order. The kitchen and family room space is comfortable and relaxing for your evenings after skiing. The Mammoth shuttle system is easy to use for a convenient way to get to the mountain and village. We look forward to continuing our trips to Mammoth and returning to this condo as our first choice.

We had a wonderful experience. The place was perfect for our family--beautuful furniture, fantastic kithen, and great location. The Coulson family went out of their way to extend hospitality.
This location was excellent. It is in the heart of the town. You can walk to restaurants, groceries, even church (as we did for Good Friday services). The inside has been carefully, beautifully appointed, with great furniture, television, decorations, kitchen appliances, etc. The instructions are very clear. The communications were great with the owner, who is very particular about keeping the place clean and orderly, which I'm sure contributes to how nice, (and clean and orderly) it is! I would not hesitate to recommend this unit in the future and would stay again. :)
Two small things kept this from being a five star rating. One, the lock bock was missing the key when we arrived. Such things happen, but unfortunately it was very late when we arrived so it was a little embarrassing having to call the owner so late and get the cleaning service out to replace the key they'd mistakenly taken with them. I also am not positive the owner would have refunded that evening's cost, which I think should have been immediately offered. Two, it is nigh impossible to find at night in the very large complex in which it sits. We'd actually arrived around 11pm and it took us an hour of wandering around in the dark to find it. The complex has no map. The numbers do not seem to follow rhyme or reason for how they jump from one section to the next.
For future renters, you need to pull into the first drive, hang a right, and it's the first unit in the second building on your left. It is NOT next to the 1-8 section at all, so don't wander around those people's patios and walkways looking for it at 11:30 at night.
