Great for the price

I stayed here for a weekend trip with family and friends. We had a total of 6 guest, and found no problem with space in the house. It was perfect for our needs, and what we needed it for. The location was a nice gated community and fairly close to the Disney area. As great as this home was, we did however, encounter some issues. When we arrived, we noticed that the BBQ had not been cleaned. In the guest book, it said that each guest had to clean the BBQ after use, but I guess they didn't get the memo. I also found an issue with the bathrooms. You couldn't use both bathrooms at once. If the two showers are being used at the same time, no one would have hot water. It was a small issue, trying to get everyone ready at once, but we managed. The pool cleaner came on the second day we were there and cleaned the pool, it was spotless so that was nice. I found that the most puzzling thing about staying in this property was all the rules that applied to the house in the guest book. I quote "Verticle blinds are very delicate! Please take care when opening and closing the blinds. Keep blinds closed at all times." Am I supposed to be delicate, or not even touch them? I would've preferred the natural sunlight of Florida. We were only given ONE toilet paper roll for each bathroom. That was a major problem, considering we didn't know we had to provide our own. I know this isn't a hotel, but I assumed it would be stocked with necessary items. It did have towels, napkins, salt and other useful condiments, which was great. The major issue was when we tried to check out. In the guest book, it said that only one trash bag was to be left on property, and we would be charged for extra trash left behind. What am I paying a cleaning fee for? When we tried to put the trash in the garbage located in the garage, we found that it was already full of trash that had not been disposed of by the previous guest. BUT, when I contacted the owner, I let her know of the concerns and she answered back almost immediately, telling me not to worry. Any concerns, she answered back right away, which was very helpful and ask if we needed someone to come out on site. The house was great, it was just these minor things that put a small damper on the trip, but nothing so major as to not rent this house. It's a very safe place for a family with young kids. And they'd love the pool. It's close to shops and food and the house is really lovely. I'd recommend this house for your stay in Kissimmee.

Your input is a valuable tool for us to fulfill this need. I do apologize for any of the inconveniences that you may have encountered. I have notified our maintanance man to check the setting on the water heater.
I do realize that the rules may seem excessive they are necessary and basically there as a guide. We love for you to enjoy the Florida sunshine and the "keep blinds closed at all times" is meant for when the guest is not home. That is to keep the home cooler during the warm Florida days. And to protect your valuables from view of outsiders, when you are not there. I aplogize if this was not written more clearly. I will look into the exact wording for future guests. The same is meant for the garbage charge. We understand that with only one pick up a week, this may occur and will never charge a client for this. We have had prior guests leave excessive garbage in the home for the duration of a lengthy stay. This rule applies to an incident such as that.
Paper goods are not included in the rental fee. We do supply a small amount for your convenience at arrival.
