Gorgeous views of Brevort Lake and exceptional accommodations are what you will get with this beautiful lakefront home.
Decorated with an Up North feel you will be able to relax and feel right at home. This lake front home has enough room for up to 11 people and the area has something for everyone.
There is a fire pit near the water, there is sand beach along the lakeshore and the lake has a sand bottom with a gradual taper to deep water as well. Brevort lake is a 4400 acre all sports lake surrounded by the Hiawatha National forest.
You are not far from I-75 or US-2 and it is a central location for day trips to Sault Ste. Marie, Tahquamenon Falls, Mackinac Island, Mackinaw city or the Pictured Rocks.
It is a perfect location for hiking, biking, fishing and outdoor lovers, North Country Trail access is right there and there are 1000' s of acres of State and Federal Forest right out your door.
If you are looking for quiet relaxation and a family friendly atmosphere this is the cottage for you. (You have to climb a flight of stairs because the home is on the 2nd story.)

Jon purchased this house in 2004
I love the area and so do my grandchildren, I built this first and lived in it while I built a house next door.
All outdoor activities, we are at the end of a private road so there is virtually no traffic, and my grandkids can play without worring about them. We adjoin the Hiawatha national forest. I love the quietness and solitude!
Great place to gather as a family and enjoy a wintry weekend together. View of the lake was beautiful. Cabin was toasty warm and we were fortunate to have mild weather to play outside. Went snow shoeing on the trails across the road from the cabin, and out onto the lake. Small kids (and adults) enjoyed sledding/tubing along the side of the house. Kitchen is well equipped for basic cooking, and the layout of the cabin works well for a group gathering with small children. Setting is very peaceful and quiet. Walked out onto the lake after dark and had a great view of the winter night sky! Owner very responsive to questions and came to check on us as we arrived. Hope to be back again before too long.
We stayed here for a girls weekend in October and loved it! It was the perfect place to hang out and visit with friends, we loved drinking our coffee on the deck in the morning and look at the lake! It was roomy, 2 bathrooms, and everything we needed except a pizza cutter in the kitchen.
My family spent a week at the Eagles Nest and enjoyed everything about it from the campfires, beach, kayaking, canoing, and beautiful view. The home was clean and we felt very comfortable. All of the cooking utensils, linens, and towels were available to save you from having to pack them to bring along. We were close to St Ignace for shopping and dining out, but, really enjoyed grilling and cooking at home. This location is a real gem! Would definitely recommend to anyone with or without kids!
We spent Memorial Day weekend at Eagles Nest and was our second time there (first time summer 2012) Like before, the house's knotty pine decor was beautifully maintained with plenty of room for 9 of us - including 6 teenagers! we brought kayaks to explore the quiet lake - hardly any boat traffic. The owners hospitality was as generous and friendly as before - we had a lovely campfire on his property as he was getting the other campfire site ready for the summer. We are regulars now and will be back again to enjoy this lovely property.
Are experience was outstanding everything was exactly the way Jon said it would be and more snowmobile right off the lake right too the trails was lots of fun highly recommend
