Vacation, business, or extended stays. Hotel bills can add up quickly on longer trips, and this South Austin location is a fun, affordable alternative. The 600 sq ft fully furnished suite has a queen-sized bed, sitting area with sofa, kitchen, bathroom, and patio overlooking a large yard shaded with beautiful big oak trees. This is a quiet, secluded spot, where the Texas sun filters through the branches of wonderful old live oaks, yet it is just a short way to all the activity of South Congress, Sixth Street, and the downtown area.

Enjoy everything Austin has to offer with a visit here! Also close and convenient access to the airport. Let us know in advance, and we'll arrange to provide service to/from the airport.

If you happen to be out in the yard in the evening, you may see some of our nocturnal residents --- a frog hopping about looking for the evening snack, an owl landing in the tree branches overhead.

Car: not necessary

City bus routes are just around the corner, so you can get around easily without a rental car in all of the central Austin area. Or you could rent a bike instead of a car -- most things are in easy biking distance. Metropolitan location, but there are also trails, parkland, and greenbelt spaces nearby, including an old-time spring-fed pool for year-round swimming. Tons of fun stuff to do within about 2 miles --- music, restaurants, shopping, hike and bike trails, strolling around Town Lake, bat-watching from the Congress Bridge, swimming at Barton Springs, local theater, art galleries. The attached outdoor patio makes an ideal spot for enjoying coffee in the morning, or relaxing with a glass of wine in the afternoon or evening.
