Mackinaw House is a wonderful vacation rental in a quiet neighborhood with a spectacular view of Kachemak Bay and the Homer Spit. Located inside Homer city limits, you will be only minutes away from shopping, fishing and all this area has to offer.

Take in the stunning views while soaking in the outdoor hot tub or enjoy a BBQ dinner on the deck. Watch for moose, eagles and other wildlife that pass through the yard!

Mackinaw House is perfect for families who prefer a bit more privacy, but lots of room. Mackinaw House has two separate living areas, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a fully-equipped kitchen, outdoor hot tub, satellite TV and wireless internet, laundry facilities and freezer space to store the day's catch.

Wonderful time staying at the Mackinaw House!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Mackinaw House! If you are traveling with a few family members and children this is a wonderful place to call home base. The property is gorgeous and the view breath taking. The wildlife we saw while staying at the house was an added treat! A mother moose and her two calves. A mating pair of Sandhill cranes. This is a bird watchers paradise! We were able to enjoy the day and come back and relax. The comfortable bedrooms and clean bathrooms have luxury linens. The kitchen and grill were a nice added money saver on meals for our family of 5 adults and 3 children. A cozy home to enjoy the view!
