The Whaler on Kaanapali Beach is a world class oceanfront condominium resort located in the heart of world-famous Kaanapali Resort directly on Kaanapali Beach. The Whaler offers all the activities and amenities of Maui's premier vacation destination.
Available year round and just steps from the beach, our beautiful air conditioned studio was recently remodeled. On the sunny south side of Tower II, unit 265 on the second floor, our unit features a tropical décor with rattan furniture and tropical prints and artwork, a deluxe king bed, 42-inch high definition flat screen TV, DVD player, and free broadband and wireless Internet access. The dining area features a glass table with seating for four. Relax and read on the couch or in the reading chair. The fully equipped kitchen features granite counter tops and custom maple cabinets; a dishwasher, range and oven, microwave, and refrigerator with ice maker. We provide a coffee maker, blender, and all the equipment needed during your dream vacation. The Whaler on Kaapanali Beach is a full service condominium resort with a 24-hour front desk, full concierge service, and bell service. It features an oceanfront heated swimming pool and spa where towel service is provided at no charge. The Whaler also has newly resurfaced tennis courts; a Nautilus gym, sauna, salon, and business center. The property is located just across the street from the world famous Kaanapali golf course.
The Whaler has recently completed a major facelift designed to enhance its status as a world-class condominium resort. Improvements include remodeling the oceanfront swimming pool, expanding the spa, completely redesigning and installing new landscaping in the center courtyard, renovating the exterior of both towers, redesigning the lobby and entrance areas, resurfacing the tennis courts, and redesigning the underground parking garage. All construction is now complete.

We love This condo so much we now stay here twice a year! This condo is in the perfect location...steps from Kaanapali Beach, Whalers Village, fabulous restaraunts and the wonderful beach walk. We love watching the whales from the lanai, snorkeling, our morning workout in the gym, as well as our runs on the beach walk. The condo is so clean and perfectly equipped for everything we need for comfortable dining. The owners love Maui and are so accommodating and wonderful to work with. We look forward to our next stay on Maui in 265...we wouldn't dream of coming to Maui and staying anywhere else!
My wife and I were extremely happy with the lovely furnishings, facilities and presentation of this condo. The beach was immideately in front of the complex with the Whaler shopping village next door. The bbq area was handy with also an array of nice restaurants only a short stroll away. In short we were most impressed and highly recommend staying here. A must do, if budget permits, is a helicopter tour over West Maui and Molokai, we went with Air Maui who were excellent.
We came to celebrate our 25th Anniversary and had a very memorable time. The condo has everything you need and you can be on the beach in seconds- well make that minutes because you are moving slower in Maui. Everything you need is close by and walking along the Kaanapali beach front at night is spectacular. Just a short walk down the beach takes you to Black Rock were there is some good snorkeling. We will be back but won't wait for our 50th!
I'll keep it short and sweet.I have stayed on Kaanapali beach at The Whaler for the past three years, and I can say that this unit is the best value, without a doubt. I have it booked again for my 2014 trip, and I am planning to stay here every year for the foreseeable future. If you are looking for a nice place to stay right on the beach, but you'd rather spend the majority of your money on having fun around the island instead of on a place to sleep, look no further.
My wife and I have visited Kaanapali many times and this unit is our favorite condo. The recent remodeling of the kitchen area with its granite counter top and cabinets, along with the tropical furnishings and motif elevates this condominium to a higher level. Everything is furnished for you, making your Maui dream vacation come true. The hosts are easy going and they will ensure that your stay is unforgettable. All of this, with an affordable price!
This was our second stay at this property and I know it won't be the last. It's location is perfect for us. Shopping, restaurants, sightseeing are all close. However, the best part is the ocean right outside the door. The view from the lanai is beautiful. I love sitting there and watching the whales. The unit is clean, the staff friendly and the pool is inviting. I would say it is a good deal for the price.
