Great condo at an affordable rate

My husband and I chose Maui for our honeymoon, The Whaler for it's prime location, and this condo for it's afforable rate. We knew we needed nothing larger than a hotel room, but with kitchen facilities so we were not at the mercy of restaurants for every meal. This spacious, studio condo was perfect! It was clean, homey, and well stocked with essentials to feel like it was your own. The location in the building is excellent. It's right outside the elevators, with direct access to the pool, beach, and sidewalk when exiting via the stairway. The pictures in the listing are 100% accurate.
While the unit is on the second floor of Tower 2 on the side that overlooks the Whaler Village shopping center, I actually liked having the tall shrubbery outside for privacy issues, as it does not obstruct the nice ocean view at all. We never heard any noise from the shoppers or neighbors.
The owner was very prompt in answering all inquires, and easy to deal with. Getting around was very easy from The Whaler. We had a rental car, but utilized the Maui Bus bus route to Lahaina a couple of times. It is so convenient since it departs from the shopping center next door. Otherwise, hopping on the highway to get to anywhere on the island is a piece of cake from The Whaler's location.
I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone that wants the convenience of a small condo in a fantastic location.
