We are located ~ 6 miles from historic New Roads, Louisiana – the heart of Pointe Coupee Parish. Also nearby is historic St. Francisville which is only 15 miles away. The capitol of Louisiana, Baton Rouge, is only 30 miles from Fishful Thinking and world famous New Orleans is 100 miles from False River. There are several plantation homes and civil war historical sites within several miles of Fishful Thinking Vacation Cottage on False River. Come and enjoy our cozy home on False River and the sites and sounds of southern comfort.

Keywords: Cozy retreat on False River. Great fishing, skiing, wonderful restaurants and antique shopping in New Roads, only minutes away. These are two seperate cottages-Upstairs Cottage and Downstairs Cottage. THe rates listed are per cottage!
