For those sun lovers with small children... At nap time ...the front and rear decks were designed with you in mind! You can be steps away from your little ones and still enjoy reading and relaxing on your choice of decks! There is room for your pets at our house with a fully fenced yard and a convenient pet door for your pet's safety and comfort.

Home built in 1989 designed for comfortable large family gatherings is furnished tastefully Coastal Living Style with eclectic designer furniture and antiques. Open floor plan with a spacious Living Room fireplace and a lazy overhead fan is 'easily the best' room in the house unless you love to cook...the Premium Verde Butterfly Granite Counters in Cherry Kitchen may be your favorite! The stainless steel appliances include a 3 door Side by side refrigerator with filtered water.

Home away from home

I was impressed with the layout and open floor plan of this house. we had five people in our party and never once felt like we were in each others way. The living area is roomy with plenty of space to sprawl out. the kitchen was updated with SS appliances and i loved the island in the middle. just room for a couple of people to visit over coffee in the mornings. My favorite part of the house were all the decks. we enjoyed the upper deck (bird's eye view) and spent plenty of time on each one of them. the gas grill came in handy on numerous occasions. The neighborhood was quiet, friendly and beautiful. we all enjoyed walks down to the community beaches and areas all week long. I might also add that the house is on a big corner lot with plenty of room for parking and even a small trailer with a boat. both neighbors were friendly one offered for us to use his kayaks if we wanted and the other did not hesitate to print out our e-tickets for the flight back home. So, if you are looking for a relaxing great vacation you will not be disappointed! :) ps i almost forgot that i left a shoe behind and Steve was more than willing to mail it back to me without hesitation and would not let me pay for the shipping. we all said it several times throughout the week how much we were gonna miss the house and neighborhood. Thanks so much Steve, i consider you a friend. take care until next time!

Great for kids and grilling and everything else

My wife and our 10 month old son just spent the last week at Casa Arundel. We were in town for a wedding in Annapolis and to visit with friends and family in the area. The house was super clean and very kid friendly... carpet throughout, high chair, crib and fenced yard. Great neighbors too with young kids to go to the beach with.
The master bedroom was upstairs and allowed us to get away when guests (who partied well into the nights) were downstairs enjoying themselves.
The large deck out back was great for entertaining... grill is huge and clean and plenty of space to enjoy blue crabs and then just hose down for clean up.
I am extremely picky when it comes to hotel rooms, rental houses, etc. but I have only great things to say about Casa Arundel and hope it is available when we head back next summer.

Great extended-stay home

We stayed here for a month in January while our house was being renovated. We had a wonderful time, everything was perfect. The house very clean and is equipped with everything you need - even towels. This is the first vacation house I've stayed at that actually has enough pots, pans and cooking utensils. hallelujah. The owner was very accommodating and easy to work with.

We have two little kids and two dogs, and the house and residential neighborhood was wonderful for both of them. It's quiet and beautiful, and perfect for walking around. We loved the location, just a quick stroll to the beach and park and a short drive to groceries and such.

We even had our son's first birthday here and it was perfect for entertaining. Just a great rental, very well taken care of. I can only imagine how fabulous it would be in the warmer months. Thanks for a great time!

Great for a Thanksgiving Week!

My husband and I, our three teenage/20s daughters, and a boyfriend had a great time here over thanksgiving. It didn't hurt that the weather was beautiful most days. Casa Arundel was the perfect size....the kitchen was large enough to cook Thanksgiving dinner, and Steve even found us a turkey roaster. The main room was comfortable, with a gas fireplace and big-screen TV, and surrounded by floor to ceiling windows on 2- 1/2 sides. Being able to look out at the fall leaves while sitting by a cozy fire was great, and the neigborhood bounded by water on 3 sides was perfect for walking off our thanksgiving feast! We had a couple enjoyable visits to downtown Annapolis, and saw a beautiful sunset over the Chesapeake from the other side of the Bay Bridge. One of our daughters is in school in Washington DC, and the trip to her apartment on Capitol Hill was only about 40 minutes....same with the trip to BWI airport, which the rest of us flew into from California (and one daughter from college in Oklahoma). It made a great relaxing location to rendezvous for the holidays, accessible to Washington DC, beautiful areas around the Chesapeake Bay, and convenient to the airport. I'd definitely recommend it!
