Waialua House Rental Photos and Description
House, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 6)
Come and stay in our typical Hawaiian-style cottage just a few steps from the beach. It's a quiet beach, away from tourists and crowds. The incredible ever-changing ocean views include turtles swimming right in front of you, whales in the winter, lovely occasional rainbows, and awesome sunsets.
If you are looking for a small, newly renovated, afordable, picturesque enclave away from Honolulu, this is it. This is where people come to get away from the crowds and relax. Only 9 minutes to the historic town of Hale'iwa (site for 'Baywatch'), with unique art, shopping and restaurants, and just 15 minutes to Waimea Bay and Botanical Gardens.
The famous North Shore surf breaks are within a 15 minute drive, including Pipeline and Sunset Beach. There is a wide variety of excellent restaurants and great water sport activities right here.
For the golfers, Turtle Bay Golf and Tennis Resort is just a 30 minute drive, and Kahuku Golf just 40 minutes away.
There are no hotels in Mokuleia and almost empty white sand beaches go for miles in both directions. It is also a site for the TV Series 'Lost'. Sky Diving and Glider Rides are offered just down the street and kite-surfers will entertain you with their antics on the waves to the West at Mokuleia Beach Park.
There is a main house behind the cottage, and a small one-room unit in front, yet there's a nice yard and you have clear views of the ocean from the deck. Kids love the cottage because it's literally just a few steps to the beach, and it is safe and quiet -- except for that wonderful sound of the endless waves. You will find your stay here to be not only fun and relaxing, but even magical!
The main house behind the cottage is also available for rent.
It is a 5-bedroom and 4 bathroom home that sleeps 14 on 4 Queen-size beds, 2 bunk beds, 2 extra full size futons, 1 extra queen size air bed. Great for gathering a big family. Full kitchen with dishwasher, washer and dryer in the garage, decks around much of the house with ocean views, outside refrigerator, outside shower, large living room, 8-place dining table, flat-screen TV, DVD player. 3 suits upstairs, 2 bedroom downstairs with 1 bathroom. The master bedroom is upstairs with an exquisite view from the windows and decks, with a Queen-size bed, large closet, separate shower and a jacuzzi. The price is $2,000.00/night plus cleaning fee of $300.00 and 2,000.00 refundable damage fee deposit.

We're from Northern California, and fell in love with Hawaii many years ago. We always find our stays on the island to be relaxing, revitalizing, and always filled with some unique kind of Hawaiian magic. After so many years of visiting and renting, we were finally able to fulfill our dream of buying an oceanfront home, and we're happy to be able to share it with you.
Aurilene purchased this house in 2009
Why Aurilene chose Waialua
We like quiet, peaceful places away from crowds, where there are very few others on the beach. You can walk for miles on the beach and encounter very few people. It's a natural, magical place.
What makes this house unique
There's something about staying right on the ocean that we always find to be relaxing and rejuvenating. We feel the sound of the ocean and the ocean air have a wonderful healing effect.
