In 2009, we were able to purchase a home for our family and future retirement plans. This house is now available for rent during the spring, summer, and fall.
Our home is in a perfect location on the island because it is an easy walk to everything in town. The home is modern, cute, and comfortable and will suit occupants from 2 persons up to 8.
Eastsound Village is a 7 minute car ride to Moran State Park; A favorite for locals to spend the day at the swim beach with family and friends. Moran boasts some of the best hiking, biking, horseback riding, fishing, and scenic views. Enjoy old growth forests, abundant wildlife, or travel to the top of Mount Constitution for the best 360 degree view. Orcas Island is also a family friendly destination with access to a world renowned skateboard park, plenty of weekend festivals, many local parks with play areas and enough space to fly a kite. Take a whale watching trip with Deer Harbor Charters, sign up kids for a multitude of fun classes with The Orcas Recreation Program, or there is a child-teen activity center called The Funhouse.
