Rent a piece of Boulder history! This double brick Victorian was built in 1905. You get the benefit of solid construction and detail of the past updated with all the modern amenities. One of the best features of a double brick house is its acoustics. Watch a car drive by and you will notice that you see it but don't hear it! This is a perfect getaway for a couple.
Everything is brand new since the remodel was just completed in January of 2010. Enjoy the kitchen with cherry cabinets, granite countertops and new Samsung appliances. The bathroom is brand new also and includes a washer and dryer for your convenience. Bamboo floors grace the bedroom and living room. The living room includes a Samsung LCD TV and Blu Ray player along with Direct TV and a view of the Flatirons.
The unit includes high speed Internet provided in both wired and wireless access. A new furnace and air conditioner were included in the remodel and are exclusive to this unit so you can select the perfect temperature for your comfort. If you need more than one bed the living room includes a pullout sleeper couch which was selected for its above average mattress.
Although the unit is exceptional its location is even better. It is at 18th and Spruce. Walk to the shops and restaurants of Pearl Street mall. Take a hike up Mt. Sanitas or visit Chautauqua park or the trails on Flagstaff mountain. This is close to CU but far from the noise of 'The Hill'. If you like to ski a downhill or cross country pass is yours for the asking. This will save you $65 per day alone!
A perfect perch for exploring all there is to see and do in Boulder. The space was clean, comfortable, well appointed, and perfect for our needs. The owners were accessible, friendly, and all around great hosts. Our son at CU did spent a night on the sleeper sofa, which other reviewers may not have noticed, comes with an air pump to firm up the mattress. We would definitely return!
The pictures are accurate, the apartment is beautiful and well appointed. The location is in an old residential neighborhood, very quiet. Ideal location to walk to Pearl street. Just a short 2 block walk to a wonderful coffee shop. It was everything that we needed. We were very comfortable. My daughter and I were in Boulder for her orientation to CU. The bed in the bedroom was heaven after a long day on campus. The only downside, the sofa bed in the living room needs to be replaced. It is very uncomfortable. We would stay here again, would love to try the downstairs unit with my family of four.
This property is one of two rentals in the same house (upstairs/downstairs). Sound between the two travels well.
Owners are friendly and responsive. Rental is clean. There is a washer and dryer. It's very close to Pearl St. Mall, so easy to forage for food and drink.
We have rented the downstairs unit in this rental property before, and i knew that the house is in a great location, and is clean and well maintained. All still true. Nice to have washer and dryer. No real complaints. As one reviewer said earlier, the sofa has seen better days, but we used it maybe once, so not a huge issue. Kitchen is great, and the ski pass was an added incentive, since we came specifically to ski Eldora.
We recently stayed in the upstairs apartment over Thanksgiving break. I cannot begin to say how much we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely make this our Boulder destination from now on. I woke up early every morning and drank coffee while looking out the kitchen window at the mountains. I can't think of a better way to start your day. Additionally, I love to cook and was concerned that the kitchen wouldn't be equipped for a meal worthy of being considered a Thanksgiving feast. It was perfect. We had everything we needed including the simple things like foil, saran wrap, etc. My family of four stayed there and never felt cramped. Again, we absolutely loved the place. We went for walks on Pearl every morning and afternoon because it was so close and convenient to the apartment.
Very comfy, spacious, kitchen is great for cooking what we got at the Farmer's Market. Proximity to downtown makes this a great deal and the bike shop is half a block away. Everything was clean and exactly as pictured and described. We will be back!
