In love with Kauai.....

We absolutely loved this beautiful condo at Poipu Kai. Our travel entourage included my mom, father-in-law, 3 kids, my husband and myself. We all had our own space...both in the way of sleeping quarters and bathrooms. It was very modern and clean. The beds were super comfy, the linens were good quality and the towels white and fluffy. The kitchen was well appointed. We very much appreciated the washer and dryer (laundry soap and dryer sheets were there). We used the air conditioning sparingly because by opening the windows and using the ceiling fans, the nice breeze really kept the condo cool. I really "shopped" vrbo before I finally decided on this condo. I feel that this place is an amazing value for all the space. The only downside of this lovely abode was that it was a little further walk to the beach than I had anticipated. However, we loaded up the car with the towels, umbrellas, chairs and coolers (all provided in the beach closet) and drove a short distance. Exploring the island was an adventure in itself. Waimea Canyon was amazingly beautiful. We took a day trip to Princeville and explored the North shore and the Kilauea Lighthouse. We tried our luck at the Kauai Mini Golf and Botanical Gardens. Truly the vacation of a life time! We would go back tomorrow if we could!
