ESCAPE THE HEAT IN OUR BIG BEAR LAKE RETREAT!

Our home is tastefully decorated with pine and brick colors from the nature around it -- there are many 'bear' and outdoor themes in the house. The lighter colors help to give it an open and airy feel. Also, unlike many of the older cabins and homes in the area, our house does not have any of the mildew or moldy smells that are common. There is an amazing open and airy main family room where everyone in your family can congregate to watch a movie with our 42' plasma HDTV w/surround sound system, play a game or share some dinner in front of the fireplace.

Each room is well appointed with a queen size bed, dresser drawers and a television in each bedroom and DVD player in most. There is speedy wireless internet throughout for all your gadgets and we supply a desktop computer for your internet surfing pleasure. We keep an ample supply of magazines, books and videos on site. We have iPOD docking stations in the master and one guest room. For the kids, we have an air hockey table, Playstation console w/games, kids toys, tons of kids books an razor scooters, kid furniture, videos, games and their own TVs, in addition to ample play area in the back of the house --- an extremely safe area for the kids to play. If you have babies or toddlers, we provide childproofing gates and rails to help keep them safe (this is a two story house and we do have steep internal and external stairwells). A note for those with pets -- while we do welcome house trained pets, our outside yard is not fenced -- this is the wilderness after all!

There is comfortable garage parking for one car and space for one other car on the driveway. We have no neighbors on three sides of us -- the trees on the property give one the feeling of serene privacy and peace.
