Romantic, Private Cottage 2 Acre Coffee Plantation BBPH 2009/0017

What an adorable cottage. The decorations are so tropical & wimsy. Location is very peaceful & quiet. The owners are so accomadiating & helpful, and know of all the good places to visit & eat, have lots of information on local customs, and things to do. A great welcome breakfast in fridge. All of the necessary items to cook with; beach towels & sunscreen & bug repellant in case you forgot your own. Set up with everything you could need, just like home. Felt like we were on our own private island, love being away from the city, but close enough to visit. Would definately go back and recommend!

This cottage exceeded our expectations. It had everything you could ask for and more. Bob and Sunny are the nicest hosts- they really see their cottage and services through their guests eyes. Location is beautiful, the garden gorgeous and the cottage is decorated so beautifully and with so many special touches, yhere are too many to name. I highly recommend this place to everyone visiting Maui. Believe me, it can easily measure up with any 4 star hotel, just with much more personality and very generous hosts who really care.

We had a wonderful experience at Wild Ginger Falls and can't wait to return. It was tidy, clean and very comfortable while providing all the amenities we needed. We loved the proximity to Haleakala, Paia and Makawao. After an active day, Wild Ginger Falls was a welcome retreat were we could relax. We enjoyed the out-door soaking tub under the banana trees and the outdoor shower. We only had to make one request, for a coffee grinder, and Sunny made sure it was waiting at the door the next morning.

The wifi did not initially work but it just needed to be unplugged for a few seconds and then plugged back in to reset it. There was only one bar for our AT&T and Verizon cell phones, but all calls were free on the phone in the cottage. The setting is very peaceful and only an occasional car could be heard/seen on the road above waterfall and going down driveway next to the cottage. The cottage is near the main house but felt mostly private with large bamboo/plants in between. It did rain every night but the waterfall was not active while we were there.

You can tell that Sunny and Bob take great pride in how the cottage and yard looks. The pre-trip communication and directions were great. They provided many fresh food items that was enough for breakfast and snacks all three days. We did feel like we were in a tropical forest setting and could hear frogs at night and birds in early morning. It is clear to us that Sunny and Bob want their guests to have the best stay possible. They came by before we left to thank us and ask if there was anything they could do to make the cottage better.

We wish all of our vacation experiences could be this great!
