Thank you so much for letting us rent your beautiful cabin. We were
> so happy to use your super clean, well stocked kitchen, and the
> bathroom, beds and linens were all super clean. We felt like we were
> home and had a wonderful time. Dexter, our 3 year old golden puppy,
> went swimming in the lake at Kiva beach all 3 days (thanks for that
> suggestion!). Everything was prefect. Hopefully we didn't leave any
> mess behind and the cleaning was straightforward. We definitely want
> to go back and stay at your place again next time if possible.
Every year my wife Maria and I rent a home in South Lake Tahoe. December of 2008 was no exception. We found a home that looked great, and the owners assured use that we would not be disappointed. We were! Maria spent four hours cleaning their kitchen when we arrived. It had been previously “cleaned” by their service. There were three glasses in the entire home, and the toaster looked like it was from 1974 and had never been cleaned. The bed sheets were torn, and when I moved their sofa to place a small Christmas tree, I found an old piece of pizza on the floor. We had to call the owners for everything from extra towels to buying a new microwave. It was not enjoyable, and we had spent $3,500.00 of our hard-earned money for an eleven night stay. This was a pivotal turning point in our Tahoe rental experience, and we vowed to buy our own rental. A home in which someone could rent that would be clean, cozy, safe, and affordable. We did just that. Welcome to our home.
