Our bungalow is located in the quaint Forrest subdivision in Fort Gratiot with private access to a beautiful beach along Lake Huron. We are conveniently located in the heart of several communities that offer antique shopping, golfing, chartered fishing trips, and boating. Super Wal-Mart, Meijer and Birchwood Mall are within 2 miles. Downtown Port Huron is a leisurely 6 miles to the south. The Blue Water area is home to the Mackinac Sailboat Races, Cruise Night, the Blue Water Classic Car show, Thomas Edison Depot Museum, Fort Gratiot Lighthouse, Bramble Museum – a retired Coast Guard Cutter, and Fort Gratiot – a Civil War preservation site. Be sure to visit the Blue Water Area Convention & Visitor’s Bureau website. They are a phenomenal resource for area attractions and activities.

The beach at the Forrest subdivision is exclusively reserved for the residents of the subdivision. It is not open to the public. This is a quiet family setting so we ask that renters respect that. Enjoy a leisurely walk down the private street leading to the beach. Wagons are provided to assist you in carrying your belongings to the beach. Several amenities are included.

The bungalow is clean, fresh, welcoming, and offered everything we needed. The laundry is great. The WiFi was very fast. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and essentials. The beach is close and fun. We plan to stay again.

Although this house is very clean, well stocked and well maintained, we were very surprised to discover it is located about 60 feet from a very busy highway. Cars and gravel trucks fly by at speeds of 80 km/hr all day and night. The back yard is tiny and four other properties over-look it, and the noise from the traffic is uncomfortable, so we coped by spending every day away from the house. The neighbourhood around this house is quaint, with well maintained cottages, and it is only a short walk to the beach.

Our family had a wonderful time while staying at this cute bungalow! It has everything you need: functional kitchen, cozy couches, comfy beds, and plenty of room! The beach is just a couple blocks away and the stores are right up the road. Nice neighborhood as well.
