House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

This charming Chatham summerhouse has been a family summer retreat for years. Located in South Chatham about a half mile from Forrest Street Beach, this classic Cape Cod style house is nestled on a large property with plenty of yard in the sun for games and cookouts, as well as delightful shaded areas for reading and relaxation.

The Bayview house features a wonderful living room, complete with a television, fireplace and plenty of comfortable seating. Adjacent to the living room is a small reading room, which leads into the dining area and newly remodeled, fully equipped kitchen. Off of the dining area is a bright and airy den.

The den leads out to the back patio, which features tables and plenty of seating. The spacious backyard, complete with a charcoal barbeque and a picnic table make the backyard the ideal spot for family cookouts and lobster-bakes.

In addition to the den, the house features three bedrooms. The Yellow Room, located on the first floor adjacent to the downstairs bathroom, has two twin beds. On the second floor, The Blue Room has two twin beds and The Red Room has one double bed. All bedrooms have closets and dressers. There is a bathroom on the second floor as well.

Tucked away in the backyard is a wonderful outdoor shower, which is a refreshing delight on those Cape Cod summer days. The garage is great for storing bikes and beach chairs, and the basement of the house features a full washer and dryer, as well as a ping-pong table. Also located a short walk down the road is a full size tennis court for guests to use.
