Maple Leaf Lodge - Beautiful Lakeside Log Home

Linda and I purchased this property in the fall of 2009. Being lifelong Ely residents, we immediately fell in love with this home on this quiet lake. When you relax in our home and just look around to the detail of the hand scribed logs, it is truly a work of art. Work and updates will continue throughout this year. We are very excited about the updates that have been done in such a short time. We had a new lodge-style gas fireplace installed replacing a wood stove that was used for supplemental heating. We also removed a large wall that was blocking the view of the lake from the dining area and kitchen. All new beds, mattresses and linens were purchased and installed along with new furniture for the dining and living area. We continue to update with new furniture and that will be done in the very near future. Other plans for this year include more landscaping, a lakeside deck, a new sauna and hot tub system down by the lake and another free standing fireplace to be installed in our seasonal porch. Our commitment to you is to have you enjoy our area and not to have any worries while you are here. Your relaxation and great family time is important to us as it is to you.
