Catalina Foothills Vacation Hideaway

We had a wonderful time. Seeing the area and hiking all around A nice little vacation. Sal was the best!!.

We recently spent seven weeks at this spacious two-storey condo and found it extremely agreeable. The location of the complex is excellent for nearby hiking and cycling, and the location of the unit is perfect – quiet, away from the main road, and close to a wash, where you can hear the birds singing every morning. We were even lucky enough to watch a bobcat saunter past one evening. The condo is clean, well-furnished, with excellent wireless internet options and a well-stocked kitchen. The owners are very attentive, calling to make sure everything is in working order. I would highly recommend a stay at this condo.

We had a good time at Sal's Tucson condo during February 2011. My wife had medical problems while we were there and the Tucson Medical Center was great. Because of her medical condition she was confined to the condo most of the time. She enjoyed looking out the windows at all the birds. We saw Gambel's quails out the dining window once or twice a day as a flock went by. We also were visited by Gala Woodpeckers at the suet, and we put up a hummingbird feeder and watched a couple different types. We saw yellow finches and one day a hawk joined us for lunch and brought his own lunch too!
The kitchen was well equipped and I cooked a lot of meals in the condo since my wife couldn't go out. With the Sabino Canyon only a mile away, I escaped for an hour or two almost daily and hiked a lot of the shorter paths. The condo and neighborhood are both quiet. I enjoyed playing pool at the
clubhouse.
