My husband and I just returned from a 3 day stay at "Waterfall Cabin" and our stay was not long enough! What a beautiful setting and a beautiful cabin. We hiked in DuPont State Park, Pisgah and Nantahala to gorgeous waterfalls. The town of Brevard is charming with many restaurants and shopping (Jamie's Bistro is fabulous), but just sitting on the porch listening to our private waterfall was the best. We cannot wait to return!
I can't say enough! To start- dealing with Jim is a pleasure! Thank you! You made it so easy! The cabin is perfection in itself! A heaven of its own.wonderfully rustic and cozy. Has everything you need! The waterfall running outside all the time made for some of the best sleeping nights we ever had. We had a hard time facing the time to return home! But we did get to town / Henderson / Asheville & MAggie Valley for some fun stuff for the 2 13 ur olds and had a blast! Will definitely be back SOON!
Such a magical little place! Tucked back at the end of the woods directly on a small stream. The cabin was very well equipped, clean and plenty of firewood for the chilly nights. The surrounding woods and the sound of the stream were so peaceful and the stars at night were so awesome....something you can't see in the city. Definitely check out the nearby falls near Brevard...30 min. drive but so worth it! We will definitely be back to this little gem!
We got married up in the mountains a couple weeks ago and stayed at the Waterfall Cabin for our honeymoon. The cabin was perfect!! It was so nice to have some peace and tranquility after such as crazy wedding week. Our favorite part was sitting by the fire on the big flat rock, listening to the waterfall and watching the stars!! We would like to come back in a couple years when we have kids:)
Waking up at the cabin with the sound of the waterfall rushing outside our window was as if the stream carried all the stress away. The cabin is beautifully decorated, welcoming and warm. The scenery from the front porch is breath taking! We have two, elementary age children that are begging to go back. They enjoyed fishing, hiking, roasting marshmallows and relaxing on the front porch swing. We will return the first chance we get. It was an amazing time away.
The Waterfall Cabin was recommended to us by friends who stayed there and said it was one of their best vacations. We went online for the information and were impressed with what we saw. We booked our trip well in advance. We were also impressed with the personal interest taken by the owner to any of our inquiries before and during our stay. We found the cabin and property to be even more than we anticipated, as descriptions and photos cannot depict the true natural beauty you will find there. From the quaint but very nice cabin, to the waterfall and streams and the tree canopied lane and much more, you enter a storybook setting. We found the cabin to be comfortable, clean and well maintained, as well as the property. The owners have achieved a feeling in the cabin of belonging and being connected for their guests. Sitting on the porch with a glass of wine, you have a sense that the peace, natural beauty and contentment of being there is absorbed through your skin and into your being. We enjoyed the charcoal grill area of the cabin as opposed to dining out--just did not want to miss the opportunity to enjoy another evening there. If you do nothing but spend your time enjoying the cabin and property whether relaxing or exploring, you will find your days full of pleasure. We did take Craig Miller's waterfall tour (Miller's Land of Waterfall Tours) and highly recommend it. We also recommend the canoe trip on the French Broad River with Headwaters Outfitters. We, too, found this trip to be one of our best vacations. It will pull at your heartstrings to leave, and you will leave with special memories to reflect on as well as wishes to return. We consider this Waterfall Cabin and property a rare find.
