Thank you so much for having such a cozy place to stay. We went water rafting and the place was only 9 minutes away! Great for a short nap and head to dinner afterwards. The pity thing is that we didnt get a chance to stay at the house for long. Next time we will definately stay longer.
I spent a ski weekend with two teenagers, and we all had a wonderful time. This townhouse is warm, inviting, and very clean. It was also very quiet during our stay at the end of February. The kitchen is fully equipped, and Gore Mountain is just minutes away. Bob is an excellent owner and his concern for comfort is unmatched. We'll definitely return!
We have been to the Summitt at Gore Mountain 2 times prior to our stay and by far this is the nicest place! Very clean, updated, comfortable beds, and close to mountain. Bob is very acccommadating . He was quick to answer any questions that I had. We will definitely be back !
This was the third time we stayed at this townhouse, but the first time in winter. Everything was perfect - a view to the trails at Gore, a roaring fire in the stone fireplace (with lots of roasted marshmallows), and plenty of room for the whole family. The townhouse is nicely appointed, very clean, and very welcoming. We had six people on the trip, and while there are only two bedrooms, there was plenty of space for all. The owner (Bob) is extremely accommodating, and we will definitely be coming back for a fourth visit!
A wonderful place to stay while exploring the Adirondacks. We were here over Labor Day, but I could see where this would be a great place for skiing. The pictures were very representative of the place. A home away from home that was perfect for our threesome. So much better than a hotel! We were able to do hiking and sightseeing. Bob was great to work with. He was very helpful with any questions we had.
The home is very spacious and has plenty of room for 8 people.
It was great having 2.5 baths. So the kids had their own bathroom upstairs, and we had on our ensuite.
The home is decorated with a family in mind, and very well maintained. We look forward to returning for another trip.
We stayed at this cabin for a guys getaway weekend and it was exactly what we wanted. The trip was for white water rafting and seeing as this cabin was only 1 mile away it was perfect.
First, majority of the guys were flying in from all over the country, so it took quite the coordination on my behalf, but the owner was more than accommodating; he suggested schedules, timelines, places to go, eat, drink, etc. Additionally, the owner gave us plenty to do in the cabin while we were there: TV, wifi, fireplace, BBQ. The cabin itself was well kept and very clean. It was cozy, yet spacious.
This cabin is perfect for rafting, skiing, or even a weekend away in the Adirondacks. The cabin speaks for itself in the pictures, but in my opinion what is more important is how painless and simple the owner made the entire stay for us. I couldn't have asked for a better time! I would highly recommend this cabin.
