The house was the perfect match for our group of 8 snowmobilers. Easy access to town & right on the trail. Very clean and cozy!
What a great time we had staying in this house over New Years!! We brought our snowmobiles and it was awesome riding right from the house to the trails!! Our family enjoyed the warm and cozy feeling you get from staying here! Skiing out here was a blast at Granby and Winter Park!! If you have the nerve you need to come out here and ride up chicken hill and super chicken hill!! Super chicken was awesome and nice deep powder!!
We can't say enough about Moose Ponds. It's location, and close proximity to both
Grand Lake and also the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Also very comfortable and extremely well appointed. We and a wonderful week and a very enjoyable stay at Moose Ponds.
We enjoyed our week in this beautiful home! House had everything we needed and much more. Kitchen, living rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious. We especially enjoyed the views from both decks. We saw deer, foxes, chipmunks and hummingbirds. We even saw a huge male moose a minute from house. Shops, restaurants, and the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance are nearby. This is a great vacation house!
This is a beautiful home - well furnished and equipped. The great room/kitchen combination is perfect for cooking and having family meals together - table seats 8 easily and the bar another 4. The big decks are great for sitting outdoors, grilling etc. The gas fireplace in the living area makes it easy to take the chill off cool mornings. All bedrooms are roomy as are the 3 bathrooms. The location is close to town and the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Grand Lake is on the "quiet side of the park" so renting boats, arranging horseback rides and other activities are no problem. We highly recommend this as a perfect vacation home in a gorgeous part of Colorado. We would definitely rent this home again.
This house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The layout of the home worked great for our group of 9. We had an issue with the hot tub maintaining the correct temperature and the owner promptly worked on it for us. We would definitely recommend this house to any others who are coming to spend some time in Grand Lake.
One of the best locations in Grand Lake. Within town limits but still very private.
