We spent three nights in the Apartment. It was perfect for our needs. Walking distance to the White House and the Mall. The unit has a full kitchen including a blender!! Very comfy bed, lots of drawer and closet space. Off-street parking was very helpful. The owner left us Coffee and banana bread for our first morning's breakfast. We found a fun restaurant/bookstore a few blocks North on 14th street, Busboys and Poets.

Comfortable and Pleasant Apartment

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 10-day stay in this cozy apartment. It sits on a lovely, quiet street with easy access to both bus and metro stops. We found fresh nut bread on the kitchen counter and all that we we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated its closeness to Whole Foods for groceries and quick deli meals. Our only complaint would be the bathroom which needs upgrading. The tub is badly stained and the bathmat needs replacing. Otherwise, we found the apartment much more pleasant and quiet than a hotel and would recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet and pleasant place to stay.

Clean and Convenient

Great little place, as advertised! Everything was very well cared for and clean, with lots of extras - like a full supply of paper products and fresh banana nut bread waiting for us upon our arrival! Whole Foods was nearby and reusable grocery bags were in the kitchen for our use. Was also so very convenient (4 block walk) to the U Street Metro, which was our primary mode of transportation during our visit. Owner has thought of everything with lots of information, instruction and personal recommendations. Only suggestion to owner would be to replace the mat in bathtub. It does not stay put and made the bathtub slippery.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
