We totally enjoyed our stay at Cyprina Beach! Your vacation home was everything the pictures and description stated. We loved sitting out on the Lanai and watching the Osprey, Pelicans, and the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Our favorite thing is the morning walks to the lighthouse, collecting shells and hoping to see the dolphins playing in the water. This is the first time since coming to Sanibel that we have had an entire complex all to ourselves. We truly enjoyed this experience as it was peaceful and quiet, something we both really needed.
We have been coming to Sanibel Island since 2000. Every year we talk about going to another place but the lure of the island keeps calling us back. We enjoying spending time bike riding, playing miniature golf and shopping at Periwinkle Place. This year we tried a new restaurant on the Island called George and Wendy's Bar and Grill and the atmosphere and food was great. Of course we frequented our favorites, Lazy Flamingo for the best peel and eat shrimp, The Hungry Heron, Sanibel Cafe, Pinocchio's for the best Italian ice cream and of course the famous Bubble Room on Captiva.
We were disappointed this year that Grandma Dots was closed and we missed the best Key Lime Pie on the Island. Another recommendation would be to take the Key West Express on Ft. Myers Beach for spending a day in Key West. It was awesome!
Klaus and Sigi, thank you for sharing your beautiful vacation home with us. We enjoyed conversing with you in planning our stay and one day hope to meet the both of you. We definitely will recommend your property to others and will return for future vacations.
