How to get here : the quickest way to reach central Rome is the shuttle train, the' Leonardo Express' , which leaves every 30 minutes from the airport to the central station, ' Termini Station.. The journey lasts about half an hour and costs 11 Euro. From there, it is possible to reach any point in the city thanks to the extensive public transport network. The terminus is right outside the station and it is connected to the two underground lines, A and B. Please contact us for useful links.
We were very happy to be there, very confortable and Patrizia and his father were very lovely hostesses. It was clean, with amenities, well maintained.
We were 5 people and its a a good neibourghood with supermarket and shops very close to buy everything you need.
I recomend this property to stay in Rome.
We had a very pleasant stay in this comfortable and clean apartment. The listing shows it the way it is. It had everything that one would need. It is walking distance to the Vatican, markets, lots of restaurants. It is close to the underground. Very convenient and safe neighborhood. A good central place to be in Rome to see the sights. The owners are very nice and helpful. Wewould ask to stay there again if we return to Rome.
We like the apartment very much. The owner was very helpful and answered all our email in a timely manner. The location was conveniently close to Vatican. There is a central market with many stalls from fruits/produces, meat to bakery at the end of the street. We shopped there almost every day. There is also a deli kind of store with all kinds prosciutto, salami, olives and other local favors to taste right around the corner. We had enjoyed this place very much.
Everything about this apartment is wonderful -- and exactly as advertised! It is clean, well furnished, and fabulously located. Patrizia greeted us warmly and even stocked the apartment with coffee, water, and wine. She provided all the helpful information we needed to enjoy a fantastic time in Rome. Besides being in the shadow of the Vatican and easily accessible by Metro, this apartment is less than a block from the Trionfale Market, where we purchased food that we prepared in the apartment, and right across the street from a grocery store. Our family of six -- that included two grandparents and two children ages 12 and 8 -- had a grand time in Rome and absolutely loved this apartment. We dropped coins in the Trevi Fountain to ensure our return, and this apartment will be our home-away-from-home when we are next in Rome. Thank you, Patrizia!
We rented this apartment because of the location, the fact that it had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and the price. The 3rd bedroom is the living room and the dining room. It has a pull out couch that is the bed, and you have to push the dining room table off to one side. The person on the pullout stated that is was a very comfortable mattress and bed. It has two sets of doors that close it off of the kitchen and the entrance hallway for privacy. That being said we would rent this place again.
The 3 bathrooms were very clean and a comfortable in size. One person in the group was 6 foot 5 inches.
The person in the dining/living/bedroom was ill for about 12 hours and the rest of us had plenty of space in our rooms to have dinner and breakfast.
We would have liked some wine glasses in the apartment and a few more dish towels for the kitchen. We had breakfast every morning in the apartment and a light dinner or supper in the evening. There were 5 of us in the apartment and we all felt that we received excellent value by renting this place.
The fresh market at the end of the street was outstanding. We used the laundromat around the corner and the owner was very helpful. There is a new restaurant 3 blocks from the apartment on the same side of the street that was excellent. We cannot remember the name but we remembered the food.
When we return to Rome we will stay in the same place and we do recommend.
Staying at Patrizia's apartment made being in Rome so easy for us. Walking distance to the Vatican, St. Peter's, the Metro and many good restaurants. Supermarkets and other services were close by. We felt we were in a real neighborhood. The apartment was set up for lots or privacy with two bedrooms and three complete bathrooms. Patrizia left sparkling water and a bottle of Prosecco to welcome us, as well as some delicious candies. She and Antonio were both very helpful and Patrizia was so easy to communicate with, answering all of our questions. Everything was so clean and the four of us (two older couples) would definitely recommend this property.
