Excellent accommodations for our family, centrally located, minutes to the ski lifts and spacious living area to relax after a day on the mountain! I would recommend the "moose" for anyone who has a family of 3 or more. Plenty of room for everyone!
This property was in a great location. We were told it was a 4 bedroom with a loft with a pull out sofa bed. There was a loft with a couch but it was not a sofa bed. We were forced to put 4 big boys in the same bedroom. The heat was broken and wouldn't turn off. We called to have this fixed and it was only turned down. The window in our bedroom was broken. The shower glass doors in our bathroom did not slide. The carpeted bathrooms were odd. The entire residence needs to be updated. I apologize for this review but this house really needs some help.
My family stayed here for 5 days to celebrate my wife's birthday and had a great time! We were 3 couples with no children and had 2 guest couples visit at different times during our stay. Although this residence bills itself as having "5 beds", the renter must be aware that one of the bedrooms contains 2 queen beds. If two couples are intending to use those, they had better be pretty friendly! The location of this property is fabulous with a view of the mountains out back. Access to the Dial-a-Ride shuttle service was quite handy and efficient with a prior 10 minute call. It is well appointed and has many thoughtful amenities (wine cooler for both red & white wine, a large sit down bar, large kitchen/dining room area, a functioning gas grill, pool table, music system, wide screen TV's, etc.). However, the hot tub is not in very good working order and some of the other aspects of the rental are in need of repair or replacement. This is a very nice place (and could be quite lovely) but could use a fair amount of TLC and updating. You could tell that the owners have probably not spent much time here in a while. We were here during ski season and found access to the slopes and other parts of Beaver Creek via the shuttle, quite simple to use. Although we had vehicles, we found that we didn't really need them except to go to the grocery/liquor store, etc. We were able to effectively cook in a few times and found the supplies, kitchen equipment and utensils to be quite adequate. Overall, I'd say we enjoyed ourselves here and made some marvelous memories!
Yearly trip to Beaver Creek - love the resort as a whole (dial a ride, village, skiing).
This property is a bit worn. Some touches we find with other rental companies missing (ie, small box of laundry soap, hand soap in the kitchen) as well as basic supplies (oven mitts, dish rag, even missing a pasta colander).
Had to unplug a t.v. cable from an upstairs bedroom in order to set up the main television in the living room.
Dryer had to run 2+ cycles to dry clothing and toilets very slow and had to be plunged on a daily basis.
I know the property is for sale and perhaps this is why the owners have let things slide but it is not rental up to usual Beaver Creek standards (or even basic standards)
A great property for a group seeking somewhat reasonable price with proximity to Beaver Creek Village.
We were a group of8 friends celebrating a birthday. All adults, no children and not staying during a peak period.
Having been to Beaver Creek over fifteen times we knew what to expect of the main resort and the excellent inbuilt facilities such as dial a ride!
With regard to the property itself, I would say it was adequate but a little tired and certainly not luxurious. For approx 8k per week one might expect to at least get 8 coffee mugs with handles! Unfortunately we had a total of only seven mugs with two broken!
Whilst the bedrooms/bathrooms were functional, the kitchen really did not have enough equipment for a full house if you chose to cater for yourselves on an everyday basis.
This all said, we love Beaver Creek and we had a great time. Would I return to this property, no.
