Great Home with All the Amentities

From when we first walked into this house we were amazed at how spacious it was with each room having its own unique decor. Both screened in lanais were used immensely - one for those who wanted to swim and the other for those who wanted to sit back and relax. The dock was a great place to watch the turtles, fish, sunbathe or sit at the table and play some cards. There wasn't anything we needed that we couldn't find in this home - all the amentities you could possibly need were there. Everything was very clean and the property is well maintained. We would definately recommend this home to anyone that wanted a vacation to relax and soak up some Florida sun in a quiet neighbourhood. Everything you would possible want to do is within reasonable distance. EXCELLENT PROPERTY!!

Michele and I had a great time with our friends at "Casa De Lemieux" in Cape Coral! December can be an excellent time for good weather down there and we had fantastic temperatures and beautiful Florida sunshine during our stay. Although we could have flown into Ft. Meyers airport, which is close to the house, we chose to fly into and out of Orlando Airport and found the drive from there a very easy 3 hours. As stated by several reviewers, the house is huge and easily big enough for 8 people and it really is conveniently located close to shops and restaurants, even though it is situated in a peaceful neighborhood. The canal offers great entertainment for both young and old alike with the fish biting bait often on the top of the water and numerous turtles sunning and swimming. The lanai was our favorite part of the house, screened in and located at the rear of the house overlooking the canal, it is a wonderful place for sipping on a cocktail or reading a book. The barbecue grill on the dock is a great place to prepare dinner. Fun! Fun! We fished and beached several times and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The amenities were wonderful. 4 bedrooms were great and the pictures are not doing this home justice. Absolutely wonderful. The pool and lanai were great. The canal out back provided an abundance of wildlife including painted turtles and a friendly iguana we named "Iggy". Quiet location provided us with a peaceful weekend away. Close to shopping and entertainment. Awesome place and an awesome time. Highly recommended and can't wait to return!

a real Shangrila!

My wife and I found this place a new ideal vacation get-away spot! During our 5 day stay, we found ourselves more comfortable than at home in our New England area, with all the amenities and the added easy access to the Fort Meyers attractions. The location also offered convenient shopping (nearby Walmart and Publix grocery) and a variety of popular restaurants. John and Marie were very helpful in giving us guidance in finding our way around! What a great place to bring your family for that well earned vacation (4 good sized comfy bedrooms, the pool, and a large private screened in area overlooking the water)! This is our "new" Shangrila!

This beautiful home will exceed your expectations, no matter your criteria. Large, well-appointed rooms are immaculate, tastefully decorated and comfortable.I spent a long weekend with two girlfriends for a "girls' getaway" and couldn't have been more impressed. It was so quiet and peaceful that I overslept every morning. We practically lived on the lanai or by the pool--there just didn't seem to be any good reason to leave! However, as others have commented, everything you need--shopping, dining, activities, beach, etc.--is nearby and easily found. Call John and Marie to book your next vacation....you'll be so glad you did!
