Thank you for the wonderful home away from home. We had a great weekend and even got some snow! We will definitely be back again!
Thanks, Susan ... very relaxing & comfy here. And super convenient to Pearl Street for great food & drinks! See you again soon ... Summer 2012?
Our family rented the sleeper AND the upstairs of at this property because it was the best solution we could have found for our daughters graduation at CU. Many families reserve multiple hotel rooms, and eat all their meals out. Both the sleeper and the apartment are beautifully decorated in warm contemporary colors. The beds were super comfortable and the linens were immaculate. The sleeper is equipped with fridge, microwave and coffeemaker so you can make your own continental breakfast if you desire. The owner was helpful getting everyone oriented and was very generous in many ways during our stay. We had been coming to Boulder for four years and my only regret is that we didn't think to try VRBO sooner! The property is within walking to great Pearl Street shopping and dining so that was fun - plus Whole Foods and the Boulder Y are only a short drive. A wonderful place to stay in an interesting community!
This is my second time to stay in this adorable space. The owner goes above and beyond to make your stay extra special, with soaps, lotions, ironing board, and various teas and coffees. It's great to have a refrigerator and coffee maker. Bright and delightfully furnished. Close in to Pearl Street Mall. We were in Boulder for my daughter's graduation, and I really enjoy this studio so much more than a hotel. Be sure to go to Pizzeria Locale, Hapa Sushi and The Med. All great eating!
I highly recommend this charming and sunny room in a convenient location. I stayed 8 nights and had a lovely time.
This one bedroom studio, which is part of the larger restored Victorian house, is quiet, beautiful and very comfortable. The location is great for getting anywhere in Boulder, and is walking distance to the superb Pearl Street Mall where great restaurants and shopping abound. The owner is accessible and friendly. I highly recommend this property!
I loved my stay in this darling property. Quiet, woodsy, luscious space. Susan included special amenities like designer soaps, flavored coffees, and stocked the 'frig with water. Bed was super comfortable. I was visiting my daughter for Parents Weekend at CU so it was close to her House. It's a few blocks to Pearl Street Mall which has great shopping, especially my favorite, The Lighthouse Bookstore. Love Hapa Sushi and The Med. I look forward to my return next spring for Moms' Weekend. I would recommend the sleeper for one or two, and her upstairs 3-bedroom unit was also delightful and would be perfect for a family vacation. Photos are accurate, super clean, and Susan was the perfect hostess...
We often visit our daughter, a Buff, from LA, and stay at in hotels. This was a nice change: the decor, and accoutrements are fresh, of excellent quality and well-thought out. The proprietor was extremely responsive to our needs and questions. The gardens are lovely, and, as it wasn't the only guesthouse, there was a graceful sense of community. It's an easy walk to anything you could want and felt very homey. A couple of things though: if you depend on watching TV, the screen is too small and too far away from the bed to give any satisfaction; there is no small refrigerator or microwave, just a coffeemaker -- yet it is still great, and very, very roomy.
