I am Doug Covington and have lived in the Kremmling area for 17 years. I was drawn to the area for its outdoor lifestyle. I am an avid hunter, fisherman and snowboarder. Living in Kremmling has afforded me to enjoy all my activities close to home. I really like the small town, friendly attitude of Kremmling's residents. Kremmling has fantastic flyfishing opportunities close by. Gold medal waters include the Colorado, Blue and Williams Fork rivers. Wolford Reservoir is just 6 miles north of Kremmling and offers fantastic fishing, boating and camping on-site. I am very happily married to my wife, Audrey. We have 9 wonderful children and they too enjoy all of the outdoor opportunities that Kremmling offers. All of our children look forward to snowboarding at nearby Sol Vista Basin during the winter months and also enjoy ice fishing.

BEAUTIFUL GETAWAY IN A FULLY STOCKED AMAZING CABIN

  • 5 of 5
We went up for my boyfriend's 30th birthday. We took two friends with us. We had a great time! Red Dirt Res was snowed out but there was great fishing at Wolford. The view from the Cabin was amazing and the feel was very homey. We were able to have fires at night and BBQ our fish. We had a great time and the best part was my boyfriend came back as my fiance. :) We have decided to try and make it a yearly trip!

EXCELLENT STAY

  • 5 of 5
We came to the house and area not knowing what to expect, as we were out of towners. We were pleasantly surprised! The house fit our needs perfectly and the scenery is beautiful. My wife, young daughter, in-laws, and small pooch fit very comfortably. Seeing all the wildlife in the area and experiencing the true peacefulness was wonderful. And having the fireplace/furnace made it all the more enjoyable and made it feel like a true mountain hideaway. A great place at a very reasonable cost!

PEACEFUL GETAWAY

  • 4 of 5
If you are wanting to get away from work and the city this is the place to go. It's quiet and peaceful place with a great amount of land. Our dog loved to run and run even though the land was covered in snow. Being able to drive to grand lake, steamboat, Breckenridge, Vail and so on in an hour is nice.

GOOD WEEKEND CABIN

  • 4 of 5
The cabin was perfect for our girls weekend. We wanted to get away from the city and do some horse ridding at a place near by. The cabin had plenty of space for our group of 5. The only problem we had was that our Internet directions took us to a different address, but after a few phone calls, Audrey, got us to the cabin. We would stay again.

WONDERFUL GET AWAY

  • 5 of 5
Everything was perfect. The house was everything we expected plus more. Just a note for interested future renters, the picture does not capture the wonderful view of the valley and hills surrounding the cabin. The renters were unbelievably cooperative. We will definitely come back.

HUNTERS AND BUCKET LIST WIVES

  • 5 of 5
This set-up worked out really well for two elk hunters and their wives. Close to public hunting lands for the men. Within driving distance of plenty of bucket list items for the wives. Satellite TV meant no one had to miss the game between hunts or hikes. Super nice owners--very easy to work with.
