Awesome condo - great views and location!

My apologies for such a late review (we actually stayed at the Condo from 8/13/11 - 8/20/11 but this site doesn't allow entries going back that far).
My husband, I, and our then 14 year old teenagers chose to stay at the Princess Heights in St. Maarten because of Owner Rick Well's: 1) quick response to my emails, 2) complete communication,
3) VRBO and tripadvisor reviews, and, of course, 4) the photos of the unit and views many reviews and receiving timely and informative information.
Upon arrival, we were impressed by the cleanliness and attractiveness of the unit. Trying to find a place to fit 2 Adults and 2 teenagers can be a challenge - but since the unit has a queen size pull-out sofa and a pull out single chair - we were all comfortable.
The Westin hotel is right below Princess Heights and you can walk there - but we drove. My husband and I had fun meeting other people and hanging out and paying for drinks in the swim up bar at the Westin (facing the beautiful ocean) while our kids enjoyed snorkeling in the calm ocean which was bath-water warm! We left water toys at the front office as we didn't want to haul them back to California - but would have left the at the unit if there was a place to store them for future guests.
The Princess Height's swimming pool is large and was rarely used by others during our stay (kids loved having the pool to themselves).
We cooked several meals in the unit which was well-stocked with utensils (items are expensive to buy on the island). Buying food before arriving at the unit (Le Grande Marche) will save you time.
One of our highlights of the trip was going on a group snorkeling trip where we saw sea turtles and other ocean life at various spots around the island. Hanging out at the Boardwalk (where cruise ships dock) was fun, and I bought a Larimar ring as a souvenir (+ t-shirts, towels, etc.).
A big thank you to Rick & Barbara Wells for the use of your beautiful condo! If we head back to St. Maarten again (or have friends that plan to visit there) your place will be the No. 1 spot!
Sincerely,
Debbie Carmel & Family
