Nice Building in the best location of Santiago, Las Condes area, very
safe walks areas, public transportation and only at four blocks from
the subway. The Building has a restricted entrance 24 hours, Pool,
Sauna, Gym, laundry machines and 01 car parking plus visitor parking.
The apartment has a nice view (12 floor), full equipped with Cocking
accessories (6 persons), TV, DVD, Wifi, Phone, safe box and the space
to accommodate 1 extra child if it is required.
Special for a business trip or small family that is looking for a
place to relax after day tours around Santiago and wants to balance
the vacations budget, like being in home.
Very good location for the Sky season, easy connection to main highway that will take you to the main SKY resorts like 'Valle Nevado' y 'Portillo'.
Muito bom, o apartamento é bem equipado, excelente localização fácil acesso ao metro, os proprietários me atenderam muito bem quando solicitei, os funcionários do prédio também são muito atenciosos. Quanto a limpeza, apenas um alerta aos proprietários para fiscalizar quem faz, o carpete do quarto estava sujo. No mais recomendo o imóvel e pretendo voltar, agora na temporada de inverno.
The apartment, the concierge, the owners were all fantastic. The apartment is fully equiped and clean in a great location. I would definitely stay there again.
My husband, our 20-year-old son and I stayed here for two weeks in April and we simply loved the place. The flat is just as described on the website: very clean, well-appointed, in a very good location, very comfortable and safe - even my Chilean cousins were impressed with it when they dropped us off from the airport!! It was like a home from home. My husband is a bit particular about sleeping in a strange bed, but he found the one in the master bedroom very comfy (just like one of the previous guests).
The other reviews are also totally accurate about the accessibility to public transport from here and grocery shopping. I would add that a 'bip!' card covers both the metro and buses, making it very easy to move around the city - and jumping on a bus if not feeling like walking to/from the metro. Yes, it may be a little far from the town centre for some people (about 9/10 metro stops) but it was ideal for us as most of our relatives live around this area, and there are still many places of interest at this end of the town.
In addition, the shop mentioned on Cristóbal Colón with Flanders, near Starbucks, had delicious freshly baked bread every day and we got some for breakfast nearly every morning. In the other direction, eastbound on Colón, there is a fantastic café, an Austrian patisserie called Cory (about 10-minute walk from the building).
I also have to mention that, unlike one of the previous guests, we never had any problems in relation to noise (ours or someone else's) or neighbours complaining about it. We found the staff at the reception desk very helpful and the place IS staffed 24 hours a day and the entrance monitored, as we could verify coming back from a few (very late) nights out.
The owners, Jeanette and Eduardo, were really nice people. We only met Jeanette in person and dealt with Eduardo either through e-mail or on the phone, but on every occasion they were both very attentive and warm and still very professional in the way they dealt with our queries and their prompt response. You can tell the moment you arrive in the flat that they have made every effort to make their guests feel as comfortable as possible.
We will be definitely coming back here for our next visit to Chile!
We stayed here for five weeks in May/June 2011 and had a wonderful experience. The place is clean, nicely furnished, and quiet. My husband, son, and I felt very comfortable during our stay. My husband is from Chile and I have been traveling to Chile for extended periods over the past ten years. We appreciated the apartment because we could just show up from the airport and unpack our bags. Everything was ready for us.
The metro (Escuela Militar) is a 10-15 minute walk from the apartment and you can buy most basic groceries at the metro station or nearby on Colon (by the Starbucks). A short taxi ride will take you to a Jumbo or Lider, one of the larger grocery chains. The apartment is also located next to one of the major streets in Santiago (Amerigo Vepuccio) and is a good location for catching public buses.
We put our son in a Chilean preschool during our stay and there were a number to choose from within walking distance. We eventually settled on a preschool that was about two blocks away -- a fast walk even for little legs.
Overall we give the apartment and the experience two thumbs up. We never met the owners in person, but found them to be very responsive to emails and phone calls. They answered all of our questions promptly and professionally. The building staff are also friendly and helpful.
This apartment is clean, neat and nicely furnished. Location is close to metro station. (10 minute walk) Bonus items: Washer/dryer in the apartment, free wifi, Starbucks just down the street.
Good value for the price and the owners are very helpful and speak fluent English.
This is a great apartment! Located about a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest subway. GREAT VIEWS. CLEAN!!! CLEAN!!! CLEAN!!! I have to mention also the comfortable beds. I was extremely happy with the location and the apartment. The only thing that was a negative was the thin walls and we were accused by the security desk downstairs of making noise...WE WERE OUT EXPLORING SANTIAGO..so that was bothersome. OTHERWISE, we loved it and had no issues.
The owner met us at arrival and departure..EXTREMELY NICE WOMAN. We will definitely stay again.
