Our condo is in the D Building - Unit 'D203'. This NON-SMOKING one bedroom condo is perfect for two people, we renovated in 2011/2012. We have equipped the condo with everything you need, all you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy your vacation! The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare your favourite meals to enjoy on the lanai or in the unit. The condo has ceiling fans in kitchen, living room and bedroom, there is also a tower fan in the bedroom. The unit has a washer/dryer along with an iron & ironing board, a hair-dryer and curling iron in the bathroom. Free WiFi, and Free long distance calling to Canada and the US. The condo is also equipped with beach towels, beach chairs, mats, beach umbrella, thermal bag and cooler for a fun day at the surrounding gorgeous beaches, also boogie boards and snorkel gear - ALL USED AT YOUR OWN RISK.
The complex features a large swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, outside showers to rinse off the sand after a day at the beach, two BBQ areas are available for your use. Tennis courts, (covered parking under the tennis courts) and lots of open air parking up at the back of the complex.
Just a short walk down the drive-way (across S. Kihei Rd.) you will find Kamaole Beach Park I, continue your walk and you come to Kamaole Beaches II & III. The three beaches combined stretch nearly a mile with views of neighboring islands and Molokini. You can also enjoy snorkelling at Kamaole Beach I, II & III.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the lanai and the beautiful Hawaiian sunsets in the evening while having dinner. Watch the Whales from the Lanai during the winter months.
An easy walk to many fine restaurants, shopping, ABC's newly opened deli, a coffee shop just down the driveway, Cinnamon Roll Place, Kihei Aloha Ice Cream and a Subway just down the road. The bus stop for the on-island public transit system is a short walk down S. Kihei Rd. just before the ABC Store/Chevron Gas Station.

This Kehei Alii Kai condo is a little known gem located across from Kamaole One beach, considered to be one of the best beaches on Maui. The condo is a recently remodelled fully equipped one bedroom unit that has the feel of a home. The condo owners have supplied every creature comfort; hardwood cabinets, granite counter tops and back splashes in the kitchen and bathroom as well as many extras in the kitchen including spices. There is a new in-suite laundry. Much entertainment has been supplied by the owners - including books, games, puzzles, and many movie DVD's for the large screen TVs. There is also an amazingly well stocked beach cabinet on the "super sized" lanai. This lanai was our favourite lounging place. There are wonderful ocean views and sunsets to be seen from it. We could watch the snorkelling boats visit Molokini while sipping our morning coffee and see an occasional whale breach. Stores and restaurants are just a short walk away including our favourite ABC store. Parking is free and there are no "amenity fees", a very nice perk. We can hardly wait until our next trip to Maui. This condo is beautifully appointed and has a lovely view of the ocean from the lanai. The beach Kamaole I is within a 4 minute walk and is a truly beautiful beach to walk, swim, and sit on the grassy part to watch the sunset. There are beach chairs and other toys available in the condo for use on the beach. There are several fun places to eat within easy walking distance. Kihei is also in a perfect location for day trips around the island! The owners couldn't be more helpful with anything that comes up. We had a wonderful time! I enthusiastically recommend this VRBO.
What a wonderful place to stay! Very clean and quiet, yet walking distance to everything. The unit itself was tastefully and comfortably decorated. The owners did not skimp on quality. A genuine home away from home, from the large king bed to the big screen TV, including an impressive collection of dvds. Quality appliances and a large beautiful balcony with a view. Very private with lots of extra amenities such as beach chairs and umbrellas, towels, even a cooler. A lot of tourist information, books, suggestions, etc... In the many places we've stayed throughout the years this was far the best! We both highly recommend this unit.

THANK YOU to owners Kathy & Vic for sharing their amazing 'home away from home'. We wanted for nothing, as the unit is so well equipped, stocked & organized. Yes, what we experienced surpassed the VRBO pics & description. Additionally, Ppty Mgrs Todd & Cheryl were professional, warm & helpful, they do a fabulous job maintaining the ppty & amenities. Owner Kathy was prompt, helpful and responsive to all communications. We would highly recommend the property for being quiet & convenient. What we enjoyed: @ Kamaole Beaches I, II & II walks, families playing in the surf, relaxing in shade of the trees in the park by the Kam I, paddleboarding (early), FOOD: Maui Flatbread Co for great pizza & fun ambiance @ Paia, a run to Costco for loading up on month's worth of drygoods/groc, Hawaiian Moon Health Food Grocer 1 blk away, Wed/Sat Farmers Market (5 min bus ride), wonderful juice bar by beach walkway near Wailea, Longhi's Bar for lunch, within walking distance ... Fred's for fun/relaxed cocktail hour with many photoshop pics to amuse, 808 Restaurant for breakfast, TRANSPORT: Kihei Car Rental, Kihei Taxi (Mark), convenient public transit stops. FUN: whale watching @ it's prime (daily playful displays), World Whale Day Parade & Festival @ Kalama Park (with many vendor/artisan booths & music)! Had some quiet days reading by the pool and the BBQ's were immaculate. WHAT A FABULOUS VACATION!!
These owners have thought of everything to make your vacation easy, fun, relaxing and memorable. They have made all the amenities easy to find, the cupboards well stocked, and the furnishings comfortable and easy-care. Things for the beach were top notch, and the beach a short walk from the Condo. The grounds were well kept, the sunsets from the lanai astonishing. It's the kind of place where staying home and relaxing is a pleasure.
This condo was a great find for our first time to Maui. We will be looking for this same unit when we return. The owners take great care to ensure their guests are well taken care of. The condo was so well equipped we found new surprises practically daily. You will not be left looking for something if you stay here. The owner was able to answer any questions and all communication was prompt. The building and grounds are well maintained and it's a very short walk to beautiful beaches, food, shopping and fun.
Maui Tacos is a must have! For an amazing meal don't leave without trying Monkey Pod. The best Mai Tai's ever and excellent dining. (Make a res)
