SPANISH BEAUTY! STEPS TO THE SAND! WALK TO HARBOR, WHARF & STATE STREET!

I recently rented this vacation property for a birthday weekend to Santa Barbara and had a great time! The house was beautifully appointed and conveniently located by the beach. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to getaway and relax!

My husband and I wanted to rent a house near the beach and down town Santa Barbara for a multi-generational family vacation. This house was perfect! We arrived from St. Louis with our son, daughter-in-law and infant grandson just in time to meet our California son. For 5 days we enjoyed perfect weather, lovely sea food, and golden time together. The house and location was exactly everything we wanted and everything that the owner's description had described. Having a beautiful kitchen in which to cook was great. The spacious house allowed for all the baby stuff as well as 5 adults to comfortably relax. We walked to the beach and downtown every day. We all took turns riding the bicycles. The book of local attractions in the house was very helpful and right on. We'd love to return to this house in Santa Barbara again some day.

This Spanish style home was a wonderful "home away from home" for our extended family stay during Spring Break. The decor was very inviting and tile work was absolutely beautiful. The pictures really do not do justice to the actual home --- it's much nicer in person. The kitchen had everything we could want and the appliances were top of the line. We spent most of our mornings lazing around the kitchen,deck, and living area, enjoying homemade breakfasts and deciding what our agenda was for the day. With the bikes (and even without them) the whole beach front and all of State St. is right there for you to enjoy --- easy walking.
Our evenings were spent all gathering together and enjoying great food at the many different restaurants S.B has to offer. We tried a couple of Jill's recommendations and they did not disappoint. The Palace Grill was excellent, with wonderful service and freshly prepared meals.
Working with Jill and Kelly on making the vacation reservation was easy. Jill responded promptly to my inquiry and answered all my questions. And Kelly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed --- even coming over in the evening to bring us an extra bed. And the bottle of wine and basket of goodies were an unexpected treat!
I highly recommend this home --- very clean and in excellent condition. And the booklet put together showing the whole remodel process gave us a chance to see what the home started as, and the great job and care taken to make it into the comfortable home we enjoyed. I wouldn't hesitate to make this my first choice for future visits to S.B.!
